  • Sent you a vid. Thought of you when i saw the bike near the end of my vid.

  • @Birdman1277 When I was a kid the three speed tank shift was rather common. The problem as far as safety was the foot clutch, which caused a lot of riders to tip over when starting from a stop wrong.

The left hand clutch is much better. 1 minute ago

  • I like the 2WD Urals with reverse gear.

  • @hawaiisidecar Probably works pretty well in the snow covered roads too.

  • @UserNamei5 Probably like most bikers thinking.

How can I make more speed on these two wheels?

  • That place is nice, but if you want to see some old bikes go north on Rt.31N. about 2 miles north of Johnsburg Rd. on the west side of the road, can't remember the name but its a new brick building. They have WWII bikes BSA, Triumph, etc.

  • @zx6roy Is it maybe Morries place in Ringwood?

He has a lot of British bikes too.

  • Really neat bikes. Very nice!

  • @RC62 I agree.

  • There such classic bikes.

  • @UKScootz Definitely.

  • Go with the ural, you can't bet a boxer motor!

  • @sorrycharly5750 It's based on the BMW which is an awesome motor.

  • Long live the old school bikes!

  • @8cuttlefish8 Absolutely

  • Some fab looking bikes...... a real bikers playground lol.

  • @RedanWhiteRebel I think so too.

  • i like how the style has remained the same after all these years I belive they are manufactured in India Ive allways loved the ural i like how the side car has a drive wheel they have a military style that totally kicks butt

  • @67kneil The owner said they are soon coming out with a non-sidecar version too.

  • Holy cow, Retro-Heaven! The next sound you hear will be my cager door slamming and tire squealing to head up there.

  • @1954shadow When you come up to visit I have lots of places like this to show you.

  • you'vegot the fever for sure

  • @SuperUnknownMC The new style bikes are nice but my heart is always for the classics.

  • Never been a fan of Enfields

  • @pushur It is a very distinct style and while I like it the Harley V45 is my choice for military type bikes.

  • That was cool! I wonder how well they sell, because everything is so retro looking.

  • @motorhead1 Around here retro sells pretty good. Lots of people in their fifties wanting to get back into riding and they are fans of the classics.

  • Ural, that's my next bike. Need it for winter. : )

  • @Zavochkin Put the controls and a cover on the sidecar and it could be a nice winter vehicle. Strange looking going down the road however with no one on the seat. LOL

  • Nice, Chuck! Those are some real head turners. Be sure and do a walk around when your friend gets his set-up. And possibly a sidecar vlog??

  • @onejillion If he gets it I am going to ask him about filming it for sure.

  • I like the one in the window display, looks like a big thumper. :D Thanks for this Chuck, these were great, and my style as well!

  • @MichaelLorenger I just love the old style plain and mechanical with parts showing.

  • That was so cool !

  • @theSMYRNAcowboy Did you like the name of the dealer "Scoots4u?"

I thought you might get a kick out of that.

  • @suburbanryder Why yes, I did. LOL

  • Nice find Chuck, I have always fancied a Ural sidecar as a companion for my BMW. It would be very practical for winter, unfortunately the 2 wheel drive military spec ones can't be registered for use on the roads here in Scotland. I also like the Bullet in trials/off road trim. Didn't realise they were available in the USA.

  • @Hank2wheels Wow that is so unfortunate that you can't drive the military ones. Here in the states if it has the street legal lighting and working brakes it pretty much is legal anywhere.

There seem to be more of the classic brands around now giving Harley a good run.

  • wow.... those are old bikes. I never understood the need for a sidecar though.

  • @Iroquois14 My friend has leg problems so he needs the sidecar for balance.

The bikes are old design but actually brand new models.
