I just wanna say you made my accutane course soooo much easier with your videos! My face "followed yours" pretty much throughout the course, so the first couple of months were just brutal! Had it not been for your videos lol I dont know if I had even continued.. So just thanks a ton, it takes a lot of courage to do what you did with these videos, so I hope you know how much it helps others! :)

everybody should get some joint juice to take with ur accutane if ur joints hurt like mine do. it works really well and its only $15 dollars at costco for a 30 day supply.

Yeah i have the same problem. You wash your face and your skin is so dry it almost flakes.

Dang your face is way better then before (congrats) im thinking of taking accutane after school ends..now im using the acne practice home edition and so far my skin is way smoother with less bumps but have some red marks and scars, hopefully they will fade atleast a little

I definately know what you are talking about when you say you put looks aside. im on day 66 and im already alot better but ive basically given up on looks for a while. haha

As for the red marks, my dermatologist told me that the red marks will just fade over time. there really is no miracle cure for them. And ive got them too so i hope they fade relatively quickly!

Im currently on day 40 of my accutane journey. Its been an incredibly rough time for me. The initial breakout has started to come full force. Im hoping that the 2 month point is when i start to see improvements. Thanks for posting your vids, you have given me the confidence to deal with this tough time in my life.

Yeah you will definitely get some scars, but they will eventually fade away if you eat healthly. Maybe ask your doctor for Retinol A, apply once a night, and it really helps. Water, tea, fruits, oatmeal, are all great for the skin.

Red marks will fade once your off of Accutane. That's what my derm told me. Accutane causes some redness and an inflamed look. It'll take time just like your acne healing, the redness will take a few months after the treatment to heal too. Consider Emu Oil once your done. I know I'm gonna' use it, but for now my derm told me that it would irritate my face.

Accutane is essentially very very high doses of vitamin A (retinol) which will also help to eliminate scars and red marks as well as stop the sebaceous glands in the skin from producing so much oil (sebum) which is pretty much the root cause of acne.
