Regarding Miller, he never set out to prove a cell could appear, his experiments were designed to show that amino acids could appear in conditions similar to what was thought to be the early earth. He actually used water vapour, methane, ammonia and hydrogen. He did produce 13 of the 22 naturally occurring amino acids in his experiment. In 2008 it was shown that his original samples for another experiment had 20 amino acids.

So after a week there was 3 amino acids, so therefore it would be impossible that after over 50 years they prove that there was actually 20 amino acids, that's just stupid. But even if there was (but there wasn't) 20 amino acids it doesn't prove anything because proteins are lot more complex .

@songshoshe I'll give you another example where he lied, @4.44 in the video, he refrences someone called hansis craig, or some-one like that (its hard to tell with his accent, could be dileberate to confuse people as he has done it in more than one occasion, especially to names and places) this person is an authority in molecular biology. This person doesnt exist, however there is someone called francis crick, co-founder of DNA, he advocated for evolution to be taught in schools ect.

In fact he was very skeptical of religion as a whole and described himself as an agnostic with a strong inclination towards atheism. @songshoshe The finches he encountered were on his surveys whilst on the HMS Beagle, yes he found 13 species of finches, he wrote about in his diary, which was published as The Voyages of the Beagle in 1839, He didnt just notice the beaks, there were other things he noticed, behaviour, ect. Anyway the finches were just 5 weeks of his time spent globe trotting, he observed many other things. And well the clue is in the title, origin of species, includes everything including homo-sapiens.

A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.

@songshoshe my english is also bad but i dont say i am at harvard. i have never gone abroad so its normal but u claim u re at harvard. anyway yes evolution is theory but its predictions re almost completely true.why is it so? for example scientists made a prediction about human chromosomes.they said if we share a common ancestor with apes ,one of our chromosones should be made of two chromosome of them because they have 48 chromosome. and they say that our second chromosone is so.

@songshoshe evolution is theory and it works well.another example is that as scientists our %80 of dna is virus dna. not only us also other mammals. it means they know codes of proteins based on viruses and they see that our many proteins come from viruses. as far as i understand even a protein that makes embrio attach to the mother's uterus is virus based protein. but guess wht? its common in all mammals. evolution is a theory .its a really good theory.

@songshoshe LMAO, ofcourse there is no book called fact of evolution, because it doesnt make sense, like there is no fact of gravity, just a theory of gravity. Theory is the most important concept in science, it supersedes fact, hypothesis, ect. What dont you understand? A theory is not an educated guess, refer to the definition of theory. Why dont you understand that a scientific theory is different to the everyday use of the word theory, in science a theory is more important than fact alone.

@songshoshe And again, the fact that you claim to have debates with educated people at Harvard doesnt change anything, you are still getting the fundamentals understanding of what constitutes a theory all wrong. Im making assumptions here but I think someone told you Evolution is just a theory, and it made sense to you as you only understand what a theory is based on the everyday use of the word, ie. just an idea or guess, so now you think you know more than the people who study it.

@KemalKemoi You clearly dont know anything about evolution, just by reading your comments its quite apparent that you know very little if not at all. Evolution at the basic form describes the arrival of different species, the mechanism with which different species emerge. The emergence of proteins from inorganic matter you mention is completely different. Thats Abiogenesis. Evolution doesnt describe that, Evolution doesnt need to explain that to work. Like I say to all research the facts.

You're a bit wrong because evolutionists were faced with question off origin of life at the beggining of 20th c.But evolucionists such as Stanley Miller failed at proving that cell could appear in environment full of CO2 , N and H20 as vapor, and that's why I mentioned emergence of proteins. So how can you talk about species if you can't prove point about one single cell.

Regarding Miller, he never set out to prove a cell could appear, his experiments were designed to show that amino acids could appear in conditions similar to what was thought to be the early earth. He actually used water vapour, methane, ammonia and hydrogen. He did produce 13 of the 22 naturally occurring amino acids in his experiment. In 2008 it was shown that his original samples for another experiment had 20 amino acids.

@ParanoidAndroid90 he was so unrealistic in creating atmosphere taht was back then , Also he used electricity and left it for a week . So after a week there was 3 amino acids, so therefore it would be impossible that after over 50 years they prove that there was actually 20 amino acids, that's just stupid. But even if there was (but there wasn't) 20 amino acids it doesn't prove anything because proteins are lot more complex .

@drspecmr 500 characters arnt enough to give a precise answer, neways, Firstly he produced 13 amino acids in his first experiment not 3. secondly I mentioned another of his experiments produced 20+ amino acids after they were examined in 2008 with modern equipment. He performed more than 1 experiment. This one was based on a volcanic environment. His original samples were taken and analysed and were 20 or so.

@drspecmr Also yes he did use electricity. It is known that lightning was abundant in the early earth. And yes he left his experiment for a week. In a week he produced 13 amino acids, considering that the this process would have taken place over millions of years on the young earth there is nothing wrong with it. He also produced both L and D optical isomers in his experiment.

@drspecmr The main objection to his experiment was that he could have underestimated the amount of reducing molecules, some say that there could have been 40% less than what he thought. However there is evidence coming to light that the release of these reducing molecules into space was less than 1% of what was thought. DO YOU think that no1 has been doing any work in this field since Miller? DO you think that was it, no1 has done anything in the decades since him? Thats very naive of you.

@drspecmr BUT like I said all this has nothing to do with evolution. What dont you understand? They are 2 completely different ideas. The fact is that Evolution has happened. Life came about from what ever process that may have taken place, Evolution takes its place from that point on wards. Evolution doesnt describe the origin of life, just the origin of species, evolution doesnt make a claim on describing the origin of life.

@drspecmr If I were to use an analogy to what you are doing its like saying the processes involved in the big bang had a direct involvement in the formation of planets, life and evolution. You dont need to know exactly how the universe came about to know how stars are formed, nor planets. Even now we dont exactly know what happened at the exact moment of the big bang, just a few billionth of a second afterwards, but doesnt mean that other things cant be explained.

@drspecmr what dont you understand, Evolution doesnt claim to explain the origins of life, Evolution assumes life at the beginning, that is what ive been trying to tell you. The explanation of the origin of life is something completely different, its called abiogenesis. The timeline of evolution would start from the era of prokaryotes onwards, which were the first simple organisms.

@drspecmr One could explain how life came about in many ways, simple molecules fusing to more complex ones on earth, simple molecules fusing to more complex ones on an asteroid or comet and seeding the components of life on earth, aliens planting the seeds of life, god. All these could be used to explain how life emerged but it wouldnt change how evolutionary processes take charge after that and how species diversify and emerge. Evolution is fact, the evidence is overwhelming, just look for it

@ParanoidAndroid90 Proteins have no biological effect if amino acids aren't in right places and if all of theme aren't 'left handed'.So there has to be too many coincidences for creating even 1 protein. Not to mention cells that are way more complex ..

@drspecmr So he was successful in turning inorganic materials into the building blocks of life. There has been objections to his work, some believe that the early earth wasnt like what it was thought to be, that there were less reducing molecules than was previously thought but then others say that the release of these molecules into space was only 1% of what they thought it was, so theres arguments on both sides.

Evolution by natural selection centers on the emergence of new species through adaptations and tiny mutations which are passed on ect. Evolution describes the variety of life not the origin of life. The origin of life is left to people that are studying abiogenesis. They can come up with something that is suitable.

If u all want the answer to darwen's theory. This is the answer.
With the time genetics changings comes in DNA but these genetic changes are not the changings in no of chromosoms so as we all know untill the no of chromosoms not changes the creature type not changes so with the most time average age, height and weight can be change due to Genetic changing but no cat can become human. due to no of chromosoms which are different in both.

He's just doing it like any bad lawyer does it, discrediting the person instead of looking at the the relevance of the evidences discovered for theory of evolution. The first thing he attacked is, scientists never state that it is fact of evolution. It is just a theory.

Evolution theory is still not completely proven - correct. Its not easy to clearly explain a phenomenon which has happened through millions of generations. Quran's theory on humans had not been challenged coz faith is excused from reason. And thats why its called a faith and not science. Faith has not created electricity, cars, medicines or his mike.Science did. In a world with only faith and no science we are just apes.

Also his comment about homosexuality being disproven and having been proposed by someone who himself was found to be gay- ridiculous. He doesn't even reference this mysterious person's name.
