When I first saw this, I thought the was actually made by the company that released the film. Then I read the description. This is VERY well done, and I cannot express that enough. Watchmen is a brilliant graphic novel, the film is just as brilliant, and this perfectly captures just how brilliant they both are. Bravo, say, Bravo!

Wow... thank you so much! And yes, this is my first REAL edit/video. I did a re-edit of "Angels In America" for personal use, but that's about it. I've thought about making more, but I haven't had the drive or inspiration for another vid. But, again, thank you for the vote of confidence :-) Maybe something will spark my interest in the near future!

Both the Graphic Novel and the Movie were excellent. Although the novel seems to explore deeper into each character although that is kinda to be expected. And dont doubt yourself, excellent video by any standards.

It's really REALLY good for those of us who haven't read the graphic novel.

Those who HAVE read the graphic novel, it's a personal preference/fanaticism debate.

Personally, I found it an incredible film I can't wait to purchase and force my mother to watch so she'll stop criticizing Rorschach.

I have actually, though I saw the movie first, so that rather colors my opinion in favor of the film over the novel, though I did enjoy the novel.

It was just hard to read, since I got a digitized copy from a friend of mine and had to read it on my computer.

I would have preferred to have the actual novel, but its better than nothing.

Honestly, it's one of those films you have to form your OWN opinion on, so try and view it with an open mind. But here's a major tip the general populace really should have been given: GO INTO THIS FILM AS IF IT WERE A DRAMA. It's NOT a typical summer action flick like the trailers would suggest. That was probably the biggest problem - people went in expecting a mindless romp with lots of explosions and fight sequences. If you want that, go see "Wolverine" ;-)

I have to admit that, for my first properly edited video, I'm quite proud of it :) When it comes to lyric-loyalty, I tried not to over-do the "ZOMG! teh piktur matchez teh wurds!" you should have added sound effects, and some of their voices..thats why fan made trailers dont look as good as the real deal, they don't add these details to their videos...ESSENTIAL DETAILS.

Well, in all fairness, I DID title this as also being a MUSIC VIDEO.

When I made this, I didn't have access to separate sound bites. If I would've just turned the music down and raised the clip's sound, it would have sounded like crap (one of my OWN pet peeves with fan trailers). I was only able to pick out "God help us all" because it didn't have any other sounds.

If I have time, I'm planning on making another video - more of an actual "trailer". But I appreciate you taking the time to watch.
