i'd fly on air canadas airbus fleet any day rather than this thing. the a320 is much smoother and quiter. THe last flight on a 767 on takeoff sat over the gear doors the slamming sound from the gear doors made such a powerful vibration it senf my arm flying upwards off the metal arm rest. im still not sure if i was given a shock of some sort. either that or air canada has a haunted 767.

Great footage. It's cool that you can come and spot at a place like this. I myself am looking forward to the 787 too, but im not crazy about the look of the serrated edges on the engine, and the curvey wingtips. I know they serve valuable purposes, but whatever lol.

People that love to fly are SO lucky. I have flown maybe 20 times in the last 2 years but I still dread each trip and get sick with worry before every flight. Nothing bad has happened yet and I know they say planes are safer than cars, but I guess I feel like IF it crashes there's no escape and it's more likely to be fatal. I have a masters in psychology, what can you say to a nutcase like me? lol. It's so bad that instead of taking a 3 hr plane ride I'm considering a 36 hr Greyhound bus ride.

Plane crashes are hardly ever fatal. There are only a few plane 'crashes' a year, but most of them are to do with landing gear/bird strike which aren't too bad! Your safe: )

Man, I wish the 767 wasnt being replaced. In my opinion it's a better plane than the A330, and I'm not looking forward to the 787.

WOW - now I have been close to airliners at Manchester in the UK and Dublin in Ireland, but NO WAY as close as that. Is that an official viewing area? love the shot of the wingtip crossing the tail, very interesting and rare angle.

dude i could almost smell the jet fuel...i love this vid. i am trying to get vids like this one on Rwy 24 at Manchester Airport, NH, USA. Rwy 24 faces the back of a D'Angelos Resturant. The Rwy is amazingly close to the building.

Nice video, but it's so sad that Air Canada basically Aquired and asorbed almost all of the canadian airlines, except for sunwing, west jet, canjet, air canda jazz and porter, but all of those airlines happen to be a dosmetic airlines.
