Hi dancer...Please don't be concerned about when. Your body has to go thru so many things to prepare itself. Your breasts will grow, pubic hair, BO are all signs it is near. I started at 12, but I had many friends that started in high school. As late as our Junior year. All of that is normal. Find a discreet place in backpack to keep a pad and wait. When your mom started can be an indicator if you feel you can ask her. Thanks for your question.
