I saw an Italien video where Rossi and Uccio go so far as to admit! that Katoh was Rossi's greatest fear! you wonder how different the last few years would have been if he was still around? in the Katoh tribute book, the people around him tell that during the short time that he was in the Motogp class in 2002, the only thing Rossi wanted to know was what tires Daijiro was using, his settings, what he had for breakfast! everything! it's possible he could have surpassed all the greats!

daijiro could have been the 1st japanese moto gp champion if he lived. now moto gp is scaled down to 800cc & needs riding skills a lot more like that of 250cc. remember, daijiro was almost perfect in 250cc especially when he took the 250cc title. what can you imagine now???
