I think a lot of the guys on the video were not only victim to what was happening in their environment; but also very bad parenting. It's good how they have gained more respect for themselves and don't chat foolishness. I hope a lot of young males on estates see this! IMO - the Islamic faith is very good, better than Christianity, as you see the devotion with all Muslims. Many can learn from it to better themselves in life.

It's just a child that is not taught boundries early on in life will more than likely end up getting into trouble later on. I was lucky enough to have good parent's whp taught me well, though they never knew the people I associated with. There are a lot of young kids especially black males who have had single parents who have only been able to do so much, yet they could have done more ending up with delinquent children.

BUT, that being said, the parents' involvement in the child's life up until that point has a greater influence on their lives than their environment. Parents that lovingly provide discipline in the child's life can overcome the environmental effects of society. Parents that teach their children that what they see in the media isn't all there is to life, affect the child more.
