Yes force feedback will add more to the feeling, but it depends on what kind of steering you use though. I used my G25 on GT5 and it still doesnt quite feel like the real thing.

ALL console games , Forza 3 ,NFS Shift are GAMES for kids. If you want a real feal for driving , you have to go for a simulator such as RFactor on the PC. I've played them all, and this beats the shit out of them.

Dude i like Forza 2 and Forza 3 i have played both online offline for days on end at my mates house i personally prefer PS3 i dont think there is a law against that I do like Forza 3 drift mode and also how you can even upgrade the race cars care there is more game modes on GT5 Rally NASCAR (even tho it is shit and u only turn fuckin left). It might be well over due but it will still wipe the floor with Forza 3. And we will still get the TopGear test track so that is just WIN for me

PS3 and it's Gran Turismo 5 is much better than this. And the PS3 has the bluray disc games. The HD DVD games that are used on the xbox 360 are out oof date and poor quality.
FM3 is a good game, but far from being realistic. how can a game be realistic if you are playing on a joystick?? If you wanna have a realistic game try iRacing.
The only people claiming that FM3 is the most realistic driving game ever are either in the Forza marketing department, or haven't heard of rFactor, Richard Burns Rally, and the like. One can easily make the argument that it's the best sim to grace the consoles, and the incredible car selection is what got me to choose it as my starting point in sim racing. Still, the PC boys have a total monopoly on hardcore gaming.
And seriously, if you want it to feel real, get an FFB wheel try iRacing.

I played Forza 2 and now I play Forza 3. I rate it above PGR and although other racers are fun, even OutRun on XBLA is a laugh - I just think Forza is far superior in terms of racing and handling realism and that makes it more enjoyable for me and until GT5 arrives, I would say it's the best at the moment.
i haven't played gt and i haven't played forza either - but i do know one thing - That bmw m3 challenge game is one hell of a nice physics package, i just whip the car around the same old track with all the driver aids turned off and im still surprised how good it can get, - isn't it based on a gran turismo engine?

I don't think your way. I think that forza's physics are a little bit better, because the suspension rebound on bumpy roads and in jumps is more realistic. But, GT4 has the advantage to offer 700+ cars!! I just can wait to see what GT5 will feel like (we already know how it will look like lol). It should be better than both GT4 and forza =D
If you turn off Traction Control in the assists menu then you should be able to drift with a high powered rear wheel drive car. Brake late, turn in, floor it, swing rear end out, opposite lock, feather throttle then give it the beans when you're straight.
Alternatively you can also try using the handbrake to swing the arse out if you haven't already. I find it useful on twisty turny drift events like Fujimi Kaido.

Based on how they rate it, I'd say Forza 3's shotcoming is it's tracks and cars. Track-wise, I would've enjoyed seeing wet tracks. And although I appreciate it's rather moderate amount of mostly modern cars, because its competing with Gran Turismo which will offer more cars most people will never care for, knowing you have to pay a LOT extra for say a ZR1 or Scuderia 430 or a DBS, initially it could've offered more. Less is more for Forza 3, but if you want more then it means more money.
quick question to all the fm3 fans. while using the racing wheel, where is the clutch buton. because i'm thinking of purchesing a wheel for this game but i need to know if it's worth it and which control would be best: xbox logitec etc. except of corse the poarche control way out of price range.
I have driven some cars featured in FM3 and I can say that they are very close in similarities, so much that I felt like I was driving the real cars when in front of my xbox.

if you actually think about you dont actually need a wheel to feel all of the physics.
If you played enough racing games, using a controller you can a instinctual feeling of the wheels under steering and losing grip.

Dude i like Forza 2 and Forza 3 i have played both online offline for days on end at my mates house i personally prefer PS3 i dont think there is a law against that I do like Forza 3 drift mode and also how you can even upgrade the race cars care there is more game modes on GT5 Rally NASCAR (even tho it is shit and u only turn fuckin left). It might be well over due but it will still wipe the floor with Forza 3. And we will still get the TopGear test track so that is just WIN for me

ha exactly! i counted 50 skylines in gt4?! it's insane 100 nissans while cool car companies like aston martin and tvr get like what 4 or 5 cars max? it's ridiculous and then run around claiming you have the most cars it's like a little kid saying he wins because he used the most crayons to color. it might have a lot but the quality is rubbish. oh and on that note a ford model t? yeah thats awesome but it dosn't go up hill and some cars can't be raced! i love the plymoth prowler and it's usless

PS3 and it's Gran Turismo 5 is much better than this. And the PS3 has the bluray disc games. The HD DVD games that are used on the xbox 360 are out oof date and poor quality.

The only people claiming that FM3 is the most realistic driving game ever are either in the Forza marketing department, or haven't heard of rFactor, Richard Burns Rally, and the like. One can easily make the argument that it's the best sim to grace the consoles, and the incredible car selection is what got me to choose it as my starting point in sim racing. Still, the PC boys have a total monopoly on hardcore gaming.
And seriously, if you want it to feel real, get an FFB wheel try iRacing.

I played Forza 2 and now I play Forza 3. I rate it above PGR and although other racers are fun, even OutRun on XBLA is a laugh - I just think Forza is far superior in terms of racing and handling realism and that makes it more enjoyable for me and until GT5 arrives, I would say it's the best at the moment.

i haven't played gt and i haven't played forza either - but i do know one thing - That bmw m3 challenge game is one hell of a nice physics package, i just whip the car around the same old track with all the driver aids turned off and im still surprised how good it can get, - isn't it based on a gran turismo engine?

I don't think your way. I think that forza's physics are a little bit better, because the suspension rebound on bumpy roads and in jumps is more realistic. But, GT4 has the advantage to offer 700+ cars!! I just can wait to see what GT5 will feel like (we already know how it will look like lol). It should be better than both GT4 and forza =D

If you turn off Traction Control in the assists menu then you should be able to drift with a high powered rear wheel drive car. Brake late, turn in, floor it, swing rear end out, opposite lock, feather throttle then give it the beans when you're straight.

Alternatively you can also try using the handbrake to swing the arse out if you haven't already. I find it useful on twisty turny drift events like Fujimi Kaido.

Based on how they rate it, I'd say Forza 3's shotcoming is it's tracks and cars. Track-wise, I would've enjoyed seeing wet tracks. And although I appreciate it's rather moderate amount of mostly modern cars, because its competing with Gran Turismo which will offer more cars most people will never care for, knowing you have to pay a LOT extra for say a ZR1 or Scuderia 430 or a DBS, initially it could've offered more. Less is more for Forza 3, but if you want more then it means more money.

Polyphony Digital have only announced one official release date and that was the 31st March '10 - and even that was only for the Japanese release. I'm not defending them cos I want the game, but dude, you're facts are just wrong.
