Hi. I'm sorry to bother you but I just have a quick question. which one would you recommend for a newbie like me? I'm thinking about buying the Esky Lama V4 or Esky Honey Bee V2. I've read somewhere that the Lama is easy to fly but if the HB V2 is as easy to fly as the Lama then I would rather get the HB V2 just because it's looks better than the Lama. Any comments and/or recommendations will be gladly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
is this video it is, the only thing I have added since then is some superblades XP, other then that its stock motors and batteries and I even use a FM version and not 2.4gHz
Excellent piloting then ... I wouldn't have believed it could fly that well right out of the box. In fact it seems to fly better than or just as good as some CPs I've seen in the same size range. Looks like this might be one heli worth trying. If I might ask, were there any particular glitches or intrinsic things about the heli at all that you had to work out at all before you got it to respond this well?? The tail seems rock stable. Man, that thing just flies real nice!
Hi Nuttcaze, I have one of the previous HBFP versions. Frame and tail are beat up pretty good from use. I was hoping since you have both older and newer versions you could tell me what is compatible and what is not. Here is what I'm hoping I can do: Order new HB 2 Frames, skids and tail frame. Re-use everything else from the HBFP "Mk3" version that I have now. Can you tell by looking at the two you have if this would be possible? Thanks in advance, Aaron.
when do they plan 2 have spar parts. i need a Esky Esky 2.4G 4-in-1 Receiver EK2-0707 . ppl who are reading this. dont be me. put a fast blow fuse on this or ull be like me hunting 4 a receiver.
I wish your flying skills were included in the box :)
Well, I can hover steadilly and I have done some long nice FFF flights and turns. The only *coughs* problem was the transition from FF to hover. I over controlled it then. Must watch your video closely now to learn how to do it better.
so nice :) i am going to buy it :)

Great vid BTW. Seems every rc heli pilot is into flying inverted/ 3D. Love to see helis flying fast, hard breaking to hovers like the real thing.

Good flying and also this video was filmed well. So many You Tuber's over use the zoom when it is not needed.

What's the HPFP V2 like outside with wind? I live in the UK and by the coast. Wind isn't always strong but there is often a breeze .

where can i get replacement parts for this heli because xheli and nitroplanes dont have replacement parts at all for these two (hbfp v1 and v2) .
rolgarcia1 2 years ago
most parts that will break are the same parts used on the V1, check with Ka-Planes, Helidirect and USHobbySupply.
