Krisztina Czakó Nepela's Memorial 1995 short program

I saw Krisztina for the first time at the 1996 Worlds skating to this program, and ever since then I have been of fan of her skating. I enjoy her creative style; also, in my opinion she was one of the world's best jumpers. Her jumping ability reminds me of one my other favorite figure skaters Tonya Harding. Great height and speed in the jumps. Krisztina was truely overlooked.

I remember seeing this SP on TV during the World Championships. I thought the Lutz fake-out entrance into the Axel was so inventive! This program made me love Rachmaninoff. Gorgeous.

Gorgeous triple lutz!  You had such a solid outside edge. Can you still do triples?

I stoped skating but last time I had my boots on (around 2006 summer) I could still do triple Toe and double Axel.

Oh Bözsi, that's one of your best lutz, the landing is so easy, the jump is huge as usual, I just love it. Wish you had skated it like this in Sofia and Edmonton :P

The competition began at 7:00AM and I was the first skater on the short program so I was still sleeping... ;)

Yes I won. The free program was not so good, but if you whis I can look for it somewhere. A friend of us from Austria shot this.

That season was definitely the best one regarding her lutz jump.

And I love the entrance to the double axel.
