  • I can't find the Calorie Countdown Milk anywhere ughhhhh!!!!!!

  • Ask your store manager about it...it's still available.

  • @livinlowcarbman Yayyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! I found it!!!!!!!!!!

  • WOO HOO!

  • I would like to know where you got that huge tub of coconut oil...I can only find the smaller jars for the exorbitant price.

  • Go to my blog along the left-hand side you'll see a picture of a jar of coconut oil by Nutiva. Click on it and that will take you directly to how you can buy the 1 gallon bucket for about $50. TOTALLY worth it!

  • The Atkins bars and shakes are pretty good. La Tortilla factory rocks! I love Dreamfields pasta. As far as sweeteners are concerned, I usually use stevia now. You certainly have lots of eggs. Do you have children? That's a lot of eggs for 2 people.

I usually use oil and vinegar for my salads though.

I just have meat and frozen veggies in my fridge with carb smart ice cream!

    Thanks for the tutorial.

  • I love Truvia for sweetener now made with stevia and erythritol. We don't have any children, but I eat two dozen eggs by myself a week. LOVE 'EM!

  • How much do you eat? You have a lot of food.

  • I eat a lot...just keep the carbs low. Check out my menus at lowcarbmenus dote blogspot dote come.

  • Hey Jimmy, I was just curious, I know that your number would be different than other peoples number, but what is your daily carb number? I mean how many carbs can you eat on a daily basis and still loose weight? O and nice cubbards and fridge stock BTW! Heck, I didnt know you could even eat that type of stuff on atkins :D I sure am glad I ran into you guys thanks again. Your buddy -R5

  • I try to consume around 30g carbs a day when I'm losing weight. It's a good goal.

  • for the dream fields pasta what does controlled carbs mean??? confused!

  • GREAT QUESTION! Controlled carb basically means a food that is significantly lower in carbs than the original. Hope this clears up the confusion.

  • Well, THANK YOU! :)

  • There is ONE more ranch you guys should try. I think it tastes way better then Hidden Valley. It's Toby's ranch, with just 1.5g of carbs per 2T serving. It doesnt have a sweet taste like most ranch dressings. Give it a try!

  • Never heard of it, but I'll look for it.

  • Go to CarbSmart dote come and you can find all sorts of GREAT low-carb stuff! :)

  • I would love to know what kind and where? I make this killer desert with sugar free jello or pudding, heavy whipping cream and cream cheese.

  • I thought that you didn't eat AsparLame? What's with the sugar free jello? Sweetened with what?

  • There are some made with Splenda, but sometimes it's hard to avoid getting NASTY-tame stuff. I avoid it for the most part, but it does end up in my food sometimes.

  • I just found your blog and this is the first video I watch. It was helpful to see some new products and it was well done, but (I'm so sorry to say this), I can't stand hearing you say "yummy". If it was your wife saying it, it would be more palatable, but a man...I don't know about that. Thanks.

  • Oh, you ain't seen nothin' yet! Check out our other videos for more funky Jimmyisms! :P

  • I'm a fellow Southerner (still a bit homesick though in the North for years). I enjoy your videos because they are warm and friendly and HI-larious. Your cabinets make me drool! Look at those treats! A question on sugar substitutes. Do they actually create cravings? I hear they create cravings by making the body think it's getting food energy. When it doesn't get that, it gets cranky. I have no problem with eating (yay, low carb!), but I don't like fooling my poor ol' body. Thanks!

  • Great question my long lost Southern belle friend living up north. :( I haven't personally experienced any cravings for sugary foods from eating these low-carb alternatives, but others say they do. So, I suppose it's an individualized thing that you need t work out for yourself. :D THANKS for your comments!

  • And thanks for carrying the flag for low carb. The great thing about low carb is that, since food is not the enemy anymore, it does allow for much more experimenation and individuality.

  • That's what I love about it, too, Amelia! Anyone who says low-carb is boring is making it that way themselves! :)

  • I was curious, If you add fiber to a food can you subtract that from the carb count. Like if a food is 30 carbs and you add 10 g of fiber (like Metamusil or flaxseed or something) can you subtract it to 20 carbs? or can you only subtract fiber that is in it naturally?

    thanks ariel

  • Great question and nice try with the net carbs. When you add fiber to a food, it also adds that many carbohydrate. So that 30g carb food that you add 10g fiber to becomes 40g total carbs. Of course, you can subtract the 10 for 30g net carbs. Yes, the fiber slows the blood sugar rise, but it doesn't negate the rise. EXCELLENT QUESTION!

  • Yep, there are major concerns about soy despite all the "experts" bragging about how good it is for you. Nope. It another one of the lies we've been told by those who think a low-fat diet is the ONLY healthy way to eat.

  • This was a great video! I think it's my new favorite from you guys. I also love those Fuze drinks and my cheese sticks, but I stay far away from LC bars. They make me stall or even gain weight... and they're addicting. I'm going to have to try that ice cream, and maybe those chocolate almonds.

  • Do what works for you and skip the foods that bother you.

  • Ok Jimmy here is one for ya.

I found the coconut flour about a month ago but have no clue how to use it. I bought it because it is very low in carbs. Can you please do an episode on how to cook with coconut flour or at least tell me how to use it?

Thank you so much for showing us your stash of goodies. So where do you buy your Tortilla chips that you showed us?

I will have to look for the chocolate covered almonds the next time I go to Sams club.

Thanks for all you two do.

    countrymom

  • Get the chips from Carbsmart. As for coconut flour, mix it half and half with other low-carb flours like carbalose or almond flour. It also makes a great fried chicken coating. :D

  • So what time is supper?

  • Whenever spikyhairedgirl shows up! :P

  • Hehehe yes, she's very beautiful! So are the cabinets, makes my mouth water. MmmMMmMmmmmm ;)

  • Yeppers!

  • Jimmy, you're so fun. You can make looking through cabinets like a good time... lol

  • Hee hee! THANKS...I think. :P

  • was that carbquik or carbalose? is there a difference in the two? why is it stored in the freezer? great video!

  • Same thing! Freezing it makes it last longer. :)

  • Wow so thats what low carb heaven looks like :o) Serious I need to move to the states, you guys have it easy with all the lowcarb food choices...! But one question... where are all the veggies??? Thanks guys for making me jealous with all the low carb deserts you have!

  • Great question! If you look in the notes of this video over to the right, then you'll see I noted that the green leafy veggies (especially spinach) were running kinda low. I also like green beans, broccoli, spaghetti squash and other non-starchy ones to go along with my tomatoes and cauliflower. :) THANKS for watching!

  • Jimmy let me borrow your fridge and cabinets....and yes keep the food in them lol

  • HA! Come on over, buddy! You're welcome here anytime. :)

  • thanks man! If you lived closer I would haha

  • Me too especially those Chocoperfection bars. Can't afford them but they look sooooo good.

  • But they're totally worth every penny!

  • Gotta keep the good stuff on hand so I never touch the bad stuff ever again! :)

  • I used this video to show my kids that we are not the only ones who don't have sugar bears in the house! Ha ha...thank you for the proof!

  • Hee hee! Nope, no sugar bears here, baby! :D

  • So were you in my fridge for this video? LOL I use a great deal of almond flour too. Go through eggs like crazy. Don't do the wraps too much as the soy tastes icky to me. This was fun seeing your kitchen. Tell Christine that you can really see where she has lost weight. She is looking terrific.

  • Somebody else said that about Christine today, SkeeterN! She LOVES that!

  • Thanks for the tour Jimmy and Christine! Look alot like my kitchen set up as well, just lots more veggies crammed in the fridge. LOL (I'm serious.. they are crammed!) Seeing this has reminded me I need to stock up! :0)

  • Yeah, we were running low on veggies, but I like my broccoli and spinach. :D THANKS for commenting!

  • that was eerily similar to a look in my cabinets!! ....Eggs in the same place in the fridge....low carb tortillas in the same place....same brand of ice cream in the freezer.....do do do do...twilight zone!

    same Atkins bars....

now I just need to add some things like coconut oil, flax chips and such!

  • LOL! That's funny, Burt! Could be why we have both been VERY successful on the Atkins diet, too. ;) Keep it up, buddy!

  • great narration jimmy lol I was wondering if you ate the carb smart ice cream! How much ice cream do you eat in a sitting? But I saw you drink diet 7up...doesnt that have aspartame? I've been bad and I've been drinking alot of crystal light lately, cause I can't really afford the true lime products :(

  • Yep, I like a couple of scoops of CarbSmart ice cream with some ChocoPerfection "magic shell" on top. YUMMY! I keep the Diet 7UP on hand for Christine when her stomach hurts. Helps every time! True Lemon is only about $3 for a box of 50 packets which is comparable to Crystal Light. Try it buddy! :)

  • $3? I thought it was more then that lol oh well

oh and jimmy this is my new account, youtube screwed up again :(

  • I just signed up under your username. :D

  • your the best Jimmy :) please sub again too :(

  • As soon as you post another video, I'll subscribe again. Right now, there's no subscribe button. :)

  • oh man lol

  • I love the low carb ice cream. I only had it once but it was wonderful. I'll have to try it with the topping for my graduation.

  • Delicious with my ChocoPerfection "magic shell" recipe. :D

  • Jimmy are you or Christine concerned about all the soy in LC products? The more I read about it the more concerned I become.

Trouble is, it is in everything as far as a LC convenience product goes.

  • Yes, I try to avoid soy as much as possible in my diet, but it is difficult. I avoid the products that have soy as the first ingredient and choose to only consume those foods that only have a small amount of it. The crux of my diet is healthy meats, veggies, nuts, cheese and eggs.

  • I think we all truly want to know what's in everyone's cabinets, so thanks to you and Christine for sharing. Very informative tour.

  • I'm not ashamed of the foods I eat, Shari! This was fun!

  • THANKS for your comments, BitterAbstract. But I do eat meats, veggies, nuts and seeds as I showed you in this video. They are the core of my low-carb lifestyle. Sure, I eat some chocolate and a low-carb bar or two every now and then, but it is better than eating a Twinkie. :) THANK YOU for your comments.

  • Sadekat, you can do it! Let me know how I can help you succeed on your low-carb lifestyle.

  • Now thats the way to go..PORK SKINS! IM about to the point if I see another bag of them IM gonna squeel like a pig! Looked good man, everything you need for those moments in life where u need a little something, and with that selection how COULD you fail. Great video! Keep up the great job.

  • I like pork skins, too, but keep it mixed up for variety on my low-carb lifestyle. THANKS for watching!
