@EhHolepro You forgot one difference. The psp 3000 has better color space(screen quality) than the psp 1000. And you can change that by going to system settings, then go to color space and set it on wide, then compare them. But good vid man!
wow wait there is like alot diffrent things that changed by the way the 3000 doesnt really need a botton for the tray its not like your going to break it when you open it gosh for real your wastin your wastin your lazy ass time wit that 1000 btw it has the britest screen and the go tooo
lol! I know... I really had no sense back then but now I realize that the psp 1000 is better than the 3000 because it has grip to it, a pop out umd drive, and is a little thicker and heavier. I like a little beef to a hand held though, that way it doesn't fly out of your hands when you are playing a game.

you forgot to mention that the Psp 1000 has an Infrared port and the Psp 3000 has the ability to hook up to a t.v if you buy the cables.Each of these advantages are limited to the different versions.
i used to have psp 1000 but mines got some freezing prolbem and i had 2 year warranty at best buy so i exchanged it and got a psp 3000 i very happy i got the 3000 bcuz it has skype, the built-in mic, its slimmer and lighter and its has faster load and the brightness wow i i hate but thing the umd door but other than that i love but if sony made the umd door better it would be the perfect psp
