@xtelevisionset In this case I have to assume you are commenting because you didn't see the drivers side front wheel spin, but, only you know what ideas were bouncing around in your head.

However, I will have to take that guess, and if that is the case, the reason that happens is due to open differentials in the front which split torque 50/50 between the axles. This is done for 3 reasons.

1) so you can steer.

2) It increases driveline life/reliability.

3) It decreases cost.

The system worked exactly as it was designed.

That is a pick up, those are designed for work, so they don't often have toys, like lockers, in them, especially in the front.

I did the same thing in my 77 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton 4x4 with a spool in the rear. chain was getting me nowhere but the tree wasn't that big just well rooted after it wouldn't budge for over 15 minutes i just put it in reverse and was able to push it right over with my bumper.

You obviously have paid very little attention. If you look closely there is a 4X4 decal on the bed and when the wheels begin to spin you'll notice that the front right and left tires are spinning- which indicates factory open differentials in 4LO.

No lag at all. It had the factory cat and muffler and I replaced them with the super 40 and a high flow cat. Overall, not much powerimprovement but the sound was far better after.
