I've watched them all and I think they call it the "dog alien"

The alien you see it this movie is not the dog alien (I think :P) its simply a normal warrior alien with a different colour + the flashlight on it. The dog alien can got smaller forearms then the warrior alien and in this movie it seems to have the normal lenghs arms.

It comes out of an Ox in the extended version of Alien 3 yeah. The dog birthing scene is in the cinema cut of the movie.
