@veedster9 No, you dont have to aim that higher. The bullet drop with the M98B isnt so accentuated, so the aim is real and it's a true 2000 mt. headshot.

these maps are huge!... this is how i want to snipe in a game not some sniping in a 300ft wide map(COD)with a sniper made for kills like this? i want BF3! but i cant get it.. need money.. :(

Legend. By the far the most legit shot I've seen (like and favorite) Any advice you can give people on how to get better at snipeing? I know it takes time to learn but I was hopeing you can share any wisdom you have. I've only gotten about 94 kills with sniper rifles and well just seeing all these videos has gotten me so interesting into snipeing. Anything from lineing up your shots to tips on how to use the recon class to benefit the team would be much appreciated please.

@pileOmonkeys about 5 just shooting at a wall to get my site dialed into the area I wanted to try for. Then about 10 misses mostly due to the time the round takes to get there and the players not staying still more than a couple seconds, but then got a slow guy on that last shot.

@skoobiskoobs I have seen a lot of staged shots over 3000m, but those are staged with a buddy on other team. About the best spot I have seen for a 2000+ longer than this and legit is on Gulf of Oman, but it would be tricky as you would have to be on russian team, somehow still the US helicopter that lets you sit in a door, take that back to your base and park as high on the back mountain as you can and then switch to door and shoot at the carrier, should give just over 2200m.

@MajorRugby 21007 is way more that 2007 + 100. I don't think BF3 has a map that big.

@RaeLeeMental  The maps are very big, I have seen a 3700m head shot, though it was staged on the Oil Fires map, sorry forgot the name. And on Caspian I parked an attack helicopter on a hill that was like 3400m from the enemies home base, but you can not snipe from the Attack helicopter, I wish they had a passenger heli on that map.

2. So what if spotting is on, I can see them with out it, I jump in the server thats open for that map at that time, Im also able to be spotted.

3. Perplexed at why Im standing where I am standing? DUH, im trying to get as far away from target as possible.
