@hanabahn I'm quite confident that the footage was taken from the first Planet Earth documentary, "Pole to Pole" (near halfway), it describes great white shark activity near seal breeding grounds. Just for clarification only two sharks typically will break the water's surface and that is a great white and its cousin the Mako. These two sharks seem to be the only ones agressive enough to charge the surface to capture their pray. The video seems to have been slowed a bit, but it is true these beautiful creatures will rush the surface and they can completely leave the water, some as high as 20 ft. Another beautiful creature that shares this ability to breach the water is a Manta Ray.

@iamtherealgrandmasta there have only been 4 accounts of orcas attacking gws's, one of them being fatal when the orca atacked a 2 m adolescent gw. on the other hand, more than 30 orcas washed ashore with great white bite marks on them with evidence of heavy bleeding while the orca was alive. and in truth the gw has a larger bite force, faster swiming speed and it doesnt need to surface for air, also the gw attacks orcas more frequently for food while the orca never attacks just defends its pod
