How do you like the Toyo's. Are you running the 305/35/19's. I was thinking about running them on the street, and then my MT's at the track. Just curious if you can drive in the rain with them.

Probably a low 11 second pass but it was fast. The 0-60 was in the 3 second range and it was hauling without question. Add a cam and it will run 10s all day.

i think a 10sec 1/4 is a little bit of a stretch... im not trying to start n e thing, but so if i put 3.73 gears in im gonna drop an entire second on my 1/4? ECS installed cam, gears, all bolt ons and such and only got to like 10.8. no way this is a 10 sec car.
I say the video is real (not on a dyno), but fudged a little bit. Maybe lower rear end gear, but not recalibrated speedo? Or maybe the video was turned on a little late and chopped a little early? The video clicks from 2 to 3 seconds at 62 mph. Too fast for a stock cam on street tires with low rpm launch. Also, video is cut off at 11 seconds with speedo reading 120. A real high 10 second car will be running around 130.

@mandog1981 My brother has a 2008 6speed C6 LS3. Cam-only package from ECS in New Jersey, with headers and tune (stock heads) made 485whp on the dyno. He trapped 127mph @ the strip on a pair of 305 Toyo R888's. The LS3 motors are fucking fantastic, and respond VERY WELL to mods. This vid is 100% no joke. 3200lb car, remember ;)
@Redivide84 Could you tell me what your brother's car ran in the 1/4? I'm going to have ECS put a blower on my c5 w/ the same rwhp that your brother's car has. Did his car break 10's? (thanks)
@YngwieGuitarGod My brother is still new to the track with his C6, we grew up modding and dragging hondas lol He went 11.7 with a 2.2 60' ft and no traction until the end of 2nd. His trap says it all though. With a seasoned drag racer, his car no doubt would break into the 10's. ECS has the SAME silver 2008 C6 with his EXACT set up (Cam, headers, intake and tune with some sticky tires) and they hit 10.80's all day with it. Look it up on you tube under ECS! That shop is fantastic!
