i have never went muskie fishing in my life. I plan on going sometime this summer and this fall, but i was wondering if i have any good baits? I have a gold 9" Bull Dawg 9" green bait with a yellow and orange belly and a black stripe on its back and red eyes,and my dad has a 9" ol' woden plug. So are any of these good?

got a 19 inch Pike by my house, but the water dropped really fast, i was right by the drop, so there was so fighting, it took forever to eat it though......

nice fish didnt give him much of a fight for its size though, you guys should come to round lake in havelock small mouth, large mouth, walleye, muskie, and i find the small mouth bass (or smaller fish) seem to give you a better fight sum times for sum reason

Why did you not bring up your trolling motor? if the line got caught in the props you would have lost your fish.

Why did you not use a cradle to land that hog? picking them up by the gills, especially a large heavy fish can really damage the fish.
