This game looks so fun!!! I don't have many dq games, I have 6,8, and 9. The only thing I wish they would do is show your characters fighting, instead of just the enemies. I love how there's good character depth though, Alena's chapter looks so fun! And the chapter with the sisters looks pretty good as well!

i dunno why but when dragon quest IX came out, i looked at these games to see what the series was like, and i thought this would be crap cause of its graphics. actually it looks like a good game minus the sprites and weird overworld

Why did they screw with the camera so much in the game. The graphics looked good and I was like, yeah! And then at about : 26 I start getting dizzy. The Camera starts spinning around on a gyroscope in 360 degrees, why in the heck are they doing that? Lets just keep spinning and spinning that thing around, what the heck. Were the designers on drugs with the crazy camera stuff. Is that the player doing that, why would you do that? I don't really care much for the anime drawn characters either.

I had no clue that the DS has Dragon Quest IV and V. I was living under a rock when then those two came out. I did know that Dragon Quest IX was coming to the DS because I played Dragon Quest VIII on the PS2 along time ago.

Well, I'd say it is, but it depends on what kind of RPGs you like. Compared to the Final Fantasy series, I guess it doesn't have much of a story.

The original Dragon Warrior IV on the NES was the first rpg I ever beat. Does the remake have additional areas or anything to make it worth buying?

Aside from the graphics, There's an extension to the ending which will add a few extra hours of gameplay. It's worth buying for nostalgia's sake.

Never had the chance to play this one. DW 4 back on the old NES was almost impossible to find. Did buy it. Gonna finish Final Fantasy 4, and Final Fantasy 3 first. Then on to this game. But, had already started Dragon Quest 5, but not too far into it.

Hmmm, I think Final Fantasy is pretty much the same when it comes to battle, if you put it that way, then. The real difference is in difficulty and style, but I don't want to lecture anyone about that. I respect yer opinion, but I like DQ more. =) Peace.

Being a longtime DQ fan, I'm truly looking forward to this game. Sure, the series doesn't have visually impressive graphics (with the exception of Dragon Quest VIII), but it's still worthwhile and a lot of fun to play!

They should make the camera more dynamic. Otherwise, the visuals are great, the game looks kick-ass, and the music is some of the best in the industry.

Hopefully Dragon Quest 7 will be remade for PS2 and that will wrap it up to 8 rather nicely. The series has heart and soul and its a pleasure to play

WOW Finally Australia can enjoy the Heaven trilgoy and its about time too. The game looks SWEET I will def get all 3 of them as Dragon Quest is the bees knees for RPGS for me

i like the monsters moving animation that remains constant during battle. that is a nice addition to the game for no reason. it adds a lot of life and personality to already well drawn monsters
