  • Smokin' version...I miss these guys...I love the roller disco footage they use w/ this as well...surreal at times...COME BACK TO AMERICA!!!

  • @PrettyPaul It's not roller disco, it's footage from a documentary on the "northern soul" movement. Well worth a watch for education /watch?v=TbEuq54FcBg

  • @chris1232123 Interesting doc on the Northern Soul...thanks...but I recall ( having seen it live 4 times) that the footage they used here in America was from Wighan Casino BUT the kids were on skates...any info on that?

  • @PrettyPaul sounds like we are both right to an extent then :)

  • saw them live at the Showbox in Seattle back in '05, they encored with this, up until this point I liked this band, after that show, that encore, something else kicked in, like turned into love, absolutely brilliant these boys. Then there's the other story of 'Kingdom of Rust', listening speaks louder than words.

  • Goodwin on drums, wicked ....Andy playing harmonica, how beautiful....2 much music talent in Manchester, is all i'm saying!!

    LOVE THESE GUYS!!!

  • i'm not from manchester but agree

  • This live version is magic. They are so talented. I wish i was there...

  • i like both versions

  • Wow! I bought this album and loved the song. And now, seeing it live, I love it even more. Very well executed live! This band is just amazing.

I really like what they did with the guitar in this performance!

  • That harmonica IS in the studio version, isn't it? What version do I have if it's not in there? My version isn't live. B-side, maybe?

  • I don't recall the harmonica in the studio version, either.. hmm...

  • No... the studio version has not the Harmonica...

  • The harmonica bit is played on an electric organ on the album track which comes in at 0.54 and thats why its sounds familiar, have a listen.

  • Doves are one of the best indie bands on the planet!

  • yeah thought it was eden project. good quality tho

  • Amazing o_O

  • It's pretty awesome how they can switch instruments like that.

  • Buen Video y buena banda

    salu2 desde TijuanaMX

  • It looks like Eden Project cornwall, is that right? Looks like the bio-domes in the background. Saw Ian brown and badly drawn boy there - excellent setting! Doves rock and new album coming out autumn 2007 i hear. They are amazing live too!!!

  • Hi cjl1979...it is from the Eden Project =) Doves are in the studio ATM, so I'm waiting too. If it's anything like the short audio samples they've posted on their site it is going to have a "Delta Tapes" influence. One can hope...Cheers

  • Yes it is, i was there

  • Saw them in Chicago...BRILLIANT!

  • Always quality played live when Jimi and Andy swap.

Bluewater is a very similar rare track.

Always love the Wigan Casino video they play on the big screen.

  • Pero que buen video, exelente grupo Doves. gracias por poner el video. Muchas Thanks
