He loved her so much, he didn't want her to feel like she was the only person people were staring at when they went to the prom. So to make himself appear physically, as 'unusual' as she did, he shaved his head.

My soccer coach teacher and family friend was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer the week before Katrina. He was told ha had 6 months to live 2 years 364 days later he died, this was August 11th. We went to his memorial service, and i just cried from the time i walked in to the we left. He would set goals each month on things that he wanted to achieve, but when he was leaving Jazz Fest on the last day he looked at all of us and told us good bye like he had never said it before. Aug 11 he passed

Nancy is by far the strongest woman I know. I love her for everything that she is. When she told me what was going on shortly after we met my heart wept for her. I told her that she had no choice but to fight and that is exactly what she did. She is getting better every day. She is my hero. I have told her many times that she saved me. my uncle died of cancer it was so sad when we found out but for all those people who have it stay STRONG and FIGHT he fought just long to see all of us then that night he died. p.s. plz do not feel sad for me i dont need it the ppl with cancer tumors blood clots and any other life threting disease out there just keep praying god is with u each and every day be unscared fight be strong live1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god bless u and may god be with u through hard times when we need him most!!!!!

my mom just died of cancer 9/13/07 she fought so hard she went through 21 radiation and 13 chemo and when the doctors said she could go through a stem cell she did but it didn't work the doctors gave her about 2 weeks and thats about how long she was alive i miss her everyday

Nancy is by far the strongest woman I know. I love her for everything that she is. When she told me what was going on shortly after we met my heart wept for her. I told her that she had no choice but to fight and that is exactly what she did. She is getting better every day. She is my hero. I have told her many times that she saved me. It was her amazing spirit and grace that saved me. I love her with all my heart and I'm happy to say we are engaged to be married. I LOVE YOU NANCY.

When I was 16 I was told that I had breast cancer. I am now 22 almost 23 and almost 3 weeks ago I was told that the cancer was back and it was back 10x as bad. But my fiancee and his parents and there church have been praying for me non stop. And I just got the news the other day that one of my tumors is gone and the others are shrinking. Micahel gave me more hope than anyone has ever done. A little over a month ago I was ready to give up. But dont its not worth it. Fight you will be surprised.

My grandfather died to lung cancer and my great-grandfather died to prostate cancer and soon after my great-grandfather's funeral, my great-aunt has been diagnosed with multiple cancers in her body. it spread withen days.

i love this song and the guy in it my granpa got stage3 brain cancer and it was really rare he was doing better then one day he just died and it shocked us all becuse he was doing so good then he was gone and we were all crying and couldn't stop!

personally i haven't gone through a relative going through cancer, but my boyfriends mother has had it a few times and has recovered. during the past few months she was in the hospital and they thought it came back but thankfully it hadnt me my boyfriend her and her family are very blessed. i love him mom like a second mother

My mom had stage 1 breast cancer 3 years ago. It is horrible thank God she found it. I love her so much. God blessed us! She survived. But now i have a 73% chance risk of getting breast cancer. I Know God is with all of his children and protecting them!

I never even knew about this song until my aunt got cancer in december of 2005. She passed away a year later in december of 2006. I cry every time I hear this song. I miss her so much.

I love this video and it is true and inspiring I pra for people who have cancer... Not only cause I know how it feels to lose someone with cancer but also because out of an entire human race. People that get hurt like that with cancer and/or some other are the strongest cause they face bigger giants then normal people and prove they can survive...

when i was in the 7th grade my gradmother was diennosted with breasst cancer they gave her 2 months to live so we too her to new york and she died 1 week later only two weeks after the docters said two MONTHS.i loved her so much. i feel for anybody how has lost a family member or friend to this rugid caner.

When I was 9 the doctors thought I had leukemia. As it turns out, they were wrong but I did have a blood disorder called ITP. Since then I've had it 3 times and I try to live my life to the fullest everyday because I know that one day it could take my life forever. My heart goes out to anyone that has suffered from cancer, known anyone who has gone through it and lost their lives or are still fighting it. My heart is forever with you. Stay Strong. and know that life has so much more to give.

Her hair fell out because of treatments4cancer.But if it is that bad then u should probably talk2ur parents.I started going through hairloss when I was14now I battle with endless doctors who try2figure out what is wrong with me.Ive been tested for Cancer but so far,thats not it.Im16now and was listening2the radio when this song came on I had2stop the car and just cry.Its really sad and even though I may not have cancer its still a painful process to go through.Anyway you should talk2ur parents.

I'm amazed by any one who survives cancer. I've seen chemo results...a hundred thumbs up to you, margaretcatlett and anyone eklse who survived cancer. You all inspire me in ways words just can't describe. You just may be half as strong as me (lol ok maybe as strong)

This song is Fantastic but I know what you mean by saying it makes you want to cry because I am a cancer survivor and I really did throw up everything I ate,slept for 5 and 6 days in a roll after chemo,couldn't eat meat,lossed my hair,and my teeth enamel went soft so I lost my teeth.Cancer is probally one of the hardest battles I ever had.

Wow! They played this song @ our school cause we had an asembly 4 locks of love. 14 ppl did it! (including 2 teachers!)While we waited 4 the ppl 2 have their hair styled we had volleyball game teachervs 7th&8th gr. team! Great Jod! Makes me cry every time! My aunt had breast cancer and got chemo. if my mom didnt tell me she had a wig i would have never guessed. shes ok tho!:-')(weepy smile)

i've lost almost all my family to cance but what really gets me is the fact that young ppl die from cancer.. one of my friends had kidney cancer and i gave her one of my kidneys to live and her body rejected the kidney... i miss her so much.. she wuz only 11 at the time.. makes u cry so much.. just don't wait till sum1 near u is affected.. help everyone as much as u can... amazing video.. made me cry .. so much.. keep on goin :)
