No one is trying to piss no one off. Immense tornadic weather just happen more frequently in North America. People there are used to it and this event may not be such a big deal to them because it's not as severe, but an historic event for Birmingham. It's not a contest you don't want larger faster scarier tornadoes. Trust me
also i dont like the way the news in this country says 'mini' tornado look a tornado is a tornado whether its winds r 3 mph or 300 mph if its tornadic its tornadic, they dont say 'mini' tornado in the us even if its a weak F0, which this certainly wasnt. great video though.
we have more tornadoes per squere mile than anywhere else in the world, so you are most likley 2 see a tornado in the uk, although american ones r usually bigger. americans seem 2 have a habbit of saying they get bigger and better stuff. look i dont f ing care if your most likely 2 die cuz of a tornado there than in the uk, im glad i dont live there if thats the case lol. every single tornado video seems 2 hav an argument between tornadoes in the uk and the usa going on.
I would also just like to say after reading grizadams07s comment, that while America's tornadoes may be worse than everywhere else, the UK actually in fact get more tornadoes than any other country in the world!

I work in Kings Heath but escaped the worst of it. I saw the sky go as black as night and then we got reports that the high street had be hit by a tornado. I still see loads of houses in Moseley with scaffolding outside them having new roofs put on. If it had happened 2 hours later I'd have been sitting right in the middle of it in my car.
First time ive actually seen the news footage from it. You would have thought if the reporter had actually gone to where the tornado struck as opposed to where it started he would have realised this was no mini tornado - more video footage at look up "moseley tornado mhangl" for more footage including some videos of the tornado.
