This report is very biased. The reporter followed Julian's statement that police have no legal obligation to protect us with the policeman pointing to memorials of fallen officers, then saying "they were gunned down." Cue ominous music!

@fschantz here in AZ, any AZ resident can own any class 3 item after you pay your $200 tax stamp and federal background check. So in short, you can own fully automatic, SBR, SBS, suppresors. Knobb creek gets alot of light due to it being a HUGE full auto shooting event. you you can walk down main street if you want with a barrett or a full auto uzi...the only thing is to have tact. At 3:00 news anchor says that at the President's appearance in Phoenix, "Open carry advocates showed up with automatic weapons" and cuts to a man carrying a semi-automatic AR-15. I agree with 99 percent of what the open carriers state here. Probably the only thing I disagree is with David Juliens's assertion that everyone should arm themselves. I think people should have the freedom to choose, and I would not want to force someone else to arm themeselves. Pro-gun means pro-freedom and pro-right. That means I don't force others to carry a gun if they don't want to...but, it also means don't force me to disarm.
The follow up story "stabbing death" brings up an important point. There are so many other things that are 10x more easily accessible than firearms. @conan0869 well full auto is legal, but only with a class 3 FFL, paperwork hell, and a $200 tax stamp to the BATFE. plus since the 1986 ban all the full autos are 20 something years old and can cost upwards of 30k. not to mention to get a class 3 FFL requires a sit down interview with the BATFE a shit ton of paper work and more money. so yeah it's legal, but expensive and pretty much not worth it, especially when you can out on the street and get a FA ak for $200 and none of that : /

@fschantz here in AZ, any AZ resident can own any class 3 item after you pay your $200 tax stamp and federal background check. So in short, you can own fully automatic, SBR, SBS, suppresors. Knobb creek gets alot of light due to it being a HUGE full auto shooting event. you you can walk down main street if you want with a barrett or a full auto uzi...the only thing is to have tact. I only open carry when im out of city limits. CCW all the way in any city or town here! ps...no permit required

If the injunction is granted, we will once again be free to openly carry a loaded firearm in urban areas of California for the first time since the unconstitutional law was enacted in 1967.
This injunction would, of course, make AB 144 (the ban on the open carry of unloaded handguns) irrelevant.

It takes literally one second to load a handgun, it takes less than one second to spot a weapon being ready to fire at someone. It take At least 2 minutes for the police or fire department to get to the scene. @BullyChicken that's why I don't like the idea of OC, we're not in the far west anymore, no need to go around town carrying a gun in the open like a sheriff. My opinion is, if you're carrying, do it conceal, this way u will avoid going through situations like this, plus, too many craziest out there, sometimes, most of the times I'd say, OC is a disadvantage, U're showing a possible agressor that you're ready for action, and they can act in base of that.

I agree with 99 percent of what the open carriers state here. Probably the only thing I disagree is with David Juliens's assertion that everyone should arm themselves. I think people should have the freedom to choose, and I would not want to force someone else to arm themeselves. Pro-gun means pro-freedom and pro-right. That means I don't force others to carry a gun if they don't want to...but, it also means don't force me to disarm.

The follow up story "stabbing death" brings up an important point. There are so many other things that are 10x more easily accessible than firearms. The media and ignorant anti-gun people like to act as if firearms can be purchased or accessed by anybody anywhere. When someone kills or injures another in an auto accident, you don't blame the car you blame the driver. The gun is not the issue. And it pains me how the media can basically get away with saying "trigger" words that are utter BS.

The logic the police use is against carrying is foolish. 2nd amendment gives EVERY legal American of age the RIGHT to bear arms. That cannot be infringed, despite many cities', counties', and states' attempts to do so. The police don't see the logic? What happens when a mental idiot opens fire on you and the cops are 10 minutes away? You're dead. There is NOTHING to be afraid of when a law abiding citizen carries a firearm. @conan0869 well full auto is legal, but only with a class 3 FFL, paperwork hell, and a $200 tax stamp to the BATFE. plus since the 1986 ban all the full autos are 20 something years old and can cost upwards of 30k. not to mention to get a class 3 FFL requires a sit down interview with the BATFE a shit ton of paper work and more money. so yeah it's legal, but expensive and pretty much not worth it, especially when you can out on the street and get a FA ak for $200 and none of that : /
