@Strings345 if i had to guess i'd say DADGAD. he plays the little melody on the bass strings with his thumb and alternately picks the second string (tuned to A) with his index finger so it has an open D chord kinda sound. try experimenting with the D chord on the open strings and G which would be fingered as 5-5-0-0-2-0 from low to high and you can move that up 2 frets for an A. Hope this helps

the first time i heard this album i was kind of disappointed, cause they weren't the noah and the whale i knew and loved from "peaceful, the world lays me down". but while listening i thought about charlie and laura and listened to this cd in another way.
