Congrats on beating the addiction but dont confuse your own ability to beat addiction with some devine intervention. You will just take on another meaningless addiciton. . religion.

God does answer prayers just like that. I've bared witness to it many times. You believe and have faith and it will be done according to his will. Those who doubt will thus never know until a few seconds after they die and find themselves in....

I like it when you said that your testamony is not neccessarily for those who have struggled with drugs but for those who haven't been through so much pain. That we can still encourage those who are in pain.
