I got mine as my friend went to japan, 3 weeks ago and asked him to look it up if there would be any in nintendo specialized stores. There were 4 C.Falcon helmets, so I asked him to buy it. It cost about 40€ (35-40US.$)

Basically to answer your question the game was made specifically to tie in with the anime and since the poor overall sales of GP Legends and the cancelation of the anime in the western world Nintendo saw no reason to release Climax outside of Japan.

@theshredder39 Yep, for a long story short, 4Kids is the reason the anime flopped, & the F-Zero Climax game was never released outside of Japan.

@BlackShadowGX They should have still released it outside of Japan. Who cares if the English dub of the anime was bad and cancelled, people would still buy it because it is an F-Zero game and F-Zero games are always awesome.
