I prefer the 'Dookie' version, Billie's voice still has "the edge", its paced and tuned (in my opinion) in a more sensible way. The sound doesn't even blend as should - on this as well....That's my opinion though.

I hate it when people compare 'old' Green Day and 'new' Green Day. I mean, I only became a fan after 21st Century Breakdown's MV. Does that make me less of a fan? I think their old stuff is awesome, and their new stuff is different, but still amazing. I know there's a difference, but their new stuff doesn't suck. It just sounds different from the pre-American Idiot period.

i didnt break any law yet in a few months i may be, it would be illegal now if i let you download this song. the law has not been passed yet so no one has done anything illegal. new media is still evolving, its a copy cat media and essentially takes what radio, television, books, newspaper ..etc have done in the past, laws will be made and regulations based upon what has been done and what hasnt, for example napster and the problems that arose from that.
