Time for tips. Open up. Use almost no pressure from you mouth and mouth piece, looks like your pressing to hard. DO LIPSLURES... I can't stress how important Thoes are. As far as tone goes it will take time. Play middle F to B flat going down in half note and returning to F. This will help tone.

First I want to apologize on behalf of the vast majority of my fellow trombonists. Trombonists for the most part are very much elitists and judgmental and hate anyone who so "disgraces" their sacred instrument.

I do hold a genuine respect for the Trombone, myself, but I am far from holding it "sacred". I have a Bible for that. I do however respect that the trombone is almost the epitome of the evolutionary peak of wind instruments.
