Id like to know if i really did have aligator snapping turtles to proove some people wrong

  • Oh my god, they're baby Gameras!

  • DINOSAURS DO EXIST!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O

  • @DrizzyMike891 yea wut a moron

  • @DrizzyMike891 his leg i thot that was his right butt cheek! lol

  • I just found one of these in a ditch :3

  • I have a video from 1984 where Mr. Put Cambre of Gretna, Louisiana took out his turtles this size and let them walk around and jump and bite. He said and I quote "There's a lot of close shaves in this business: If you fool with turtles you're gonna get bit." As one bit his finger or hand and fell off. Of coarse he should have said Cliches, but he said close shaves. Pretty funny, wish Mr. Cambre was still alive, I would have like to have met him. Peter Pritchard's book talks about him.

  • my alligator snapping turtle likes to lay on my head

  • my alligator snapping turtle like to lay on my head

  • i will buy one of these

  • @DrizzyMike891 no thats just how baby snappers play if it was hurting him any hed swing is head around and fight back

  • i caught what looked like one of these, had the spiked shell but its head looked no different from a common snapper, might have been cuz it was probably a hatchling, no bigger than a 1/2 dallor coin. anyone care to verify weather it was one of these monster turtles and not just a baby common snapper?

  • @warhammer265 Where you live may help determine. If you live in the AST Triangle, which is southern Missouri to Northern Florida over to Trinity River of Texas you could encounter the AST. However if you didn't encounter that turtle in one of those southern states at a stream or river then you didn't encounter and alligator snapping turtle. I've only found 1 hatchling, at night, and I've caught over 400 adults. So likely you were dealing with the common snapping turtle.

  • @DrizzyMike891 mine used to bite each other's tails it all out of interaction not to eat

  • Awww look at those baby faces. How could you say no to them?

  • @DrizzyMike891 I'm pretty sure they will do that in the wild, to protect their territory. o.O

  • wow you are fucked up now :D think that there is a lot of them :S worse then zombies

  • 00:20 poor turtle.......

  • I'm really surprised people keeps these as pets. I've seen some massive snapping turtles.

  • @Bworacek hey say that if u have any type of reptile in a enclose space. the size of the space determine how big the reptile is going to get as well as how much u feed it. Cuz i have a Diamondback terrapin for 12 years and it is the same size.

  • How old were they? I have a newborn (at the most a week or so old) and he doesn't bite yet...

  • Comment removed

  • @KurtsTwinSister mine was like that for about a month & it wouldnt eat anything except for a worm i gave it to chase around & now it bites EVERYTHING in its path & its 2 months old

  • @KathyStar94 how can you tell if it's a common or an alligator? Mine is about 2 inches long from tail tip to nose (tail is as long as shell), it has a spikey shell, and it's head is smooth and round like a toe. He also has yellow evil looking eyes.

  • @KurtsTwinSister the spiky shell & the evil looking eyes a common has like a solid shell & they look relly fat & the alligator has the spiky blackish shell & it basiclly looks like a black rock..that bites

  • ha PETA would have a stroke if they saw this

  • "they bite anything that moves near their heads" Wow, what a shitty pet

  • Man once that fucker bites there like a pit bull they dont let go until something else gives out or they tare it off.

  • @shampoo02 They will let go, just get something sharp and poke their eye, they will instantly let go.

  • @STProductionFilms If you poke just about anything in the eye it will let go , lol

  • where did u buy them?

  • they shouldnt be opening their mouths until their juvenile age, somethings wrong

  • @fenderboyjosh You're an idiot.

  • @STProductionFilms actually im right, get some research dumbass

  • @fenderboyjosh Haha considering I've raised these for the past 10 years. Take any baby allie or common and put a stick in its face. Please take your own advice and go "research".

  • @STProductionFilms these arent common snappers, they are alligator sanppers, and they dont bite till they are juvenile. Why dont you take a look at the title tard

  • @fenderboyjosh lmao, did I say these were commons? I know their not. I said take any baby allie (alligator) or common snapper and do this and watch what happen. Damn you're dense.

  • @STProductionFilms shutup, you dont know what your talking about O.o

  • @fenderboyjosh Please learn to use "your" and "you're".

Or you could just Google it.

The reason I don't have any is because I know I would end up some how killing them do to lapse of judgement, I prefer mammalian pets. :P

  • Why do aLL the bookz say ckommon snaPPerz are the more aGressiVe

  • @LTR

    StFu AnD TalKK NormmalLzZz

  • @Wappertjee Go fuck yourseLf

  • @LTR I have a common snapping turtle and she is quite aggressive. Especially when she is out of her tank. She bites at almost everything that gets within neck length of her. An alligator snapping turtle wouldnt do that. It would get closer to the object and then bite. It doesnt have a long as neck as the common.

  • @justwatchinthevideos mines totaLLy ckaLm unLess u bother it When it diGz doWn

in2 the dirt When i take it outside everyday

  • aww! so so so adorable <3

  • Bossy turtle

  • "That butt looks tasty! Om nom nom nom"

  • why do they always leave their mouth open commons don't

  • @Schwarz2448 because alligator snappers use their tongue as a lure. in the wild, they stick their tongue out and other fish think its a worm, and when the fish gets close enough the alligator snapper eats them. common snappers dont have this "lure"

  • were did you get those there tite

  • It bit the other's foot.

  • where do i buy aligator snappers??

  • hahaha way to just let one turtle bite the shit out of the other one. Lefty is boss

  • cn i buy one off u if u name the prize?

  • dude nice i am getting one in like a week

  • good, u would like it , there awsome, im gonna raise mine till its too big, and then im gonna give it to a zoo XD

  • viscous little things

  • do they need a water heater or is a heat lamp good enough?

  • who wants one all they do is bite

  • and why are you letting it bite the other one? with the world's second strongest bite force i would not think a caring owner would let that happen. is it ok?

  • wow how old are thay

  • lol one lexington if that is your real name (:D) 1. Regular snapping turtles are NOT on the endangered speicies list. 2. these are alligator snapping turtles and they have the 2nd most powerful bite force, in swamps at least 3. alligator snapping turtles are not illegal. only in california are they illegal. it is leagal to own one of these bad boys. (sorry californians)!

  • yeah, alligator snappers have the 2nd strongest bite force in THE WORLD. pretty surprising and unexpected for such a relatively small creature, but they are second only to the American alligator.

  • 77 lexington even when there small there bite will break a bone

  • 77 lexington is dead wrong, and thats hilarious

  • lol he bit his brother lol

  • baby snapping turtles are harmless. Only a total wimp would feel the need to confront them with a fire iron. Oh, and keeping them as pets is TOTALLY illegal - endangered species and all that jazz.

  • and if im right thats not a fire iron. its a tool to feed snapping turtles without getting your hand ripped off in the most painful way possible.

  • NICE, ninja turtles aint got shit on these 2!

  • its stupid to have a fight on a comment board. theyre there to comment on the vid. not to have an argument.

  • read somewere that you are a breeder of alligator snapping turtles, i want a baby female, do u think u can get me one?

  • i have two snapping turtles that im keeping until they get big and can defend for themselves then im going to release them a park

  • you want to goto jail? thats illegal dude give them to a zoo now while they are babys

  • i hope that comment was a joke because your an idiot

  • no it is ilegal to catch a baby snappign turtle rais it and dumb it off

  • it's not illegal idiot he's a breeder

  • hey dumb shit wasnt talkin abotu the guy in teh vid was talkin to the guy that sed he caught babays was gona get them to adults and let them go in a park wich IS illegal

  • ok i didn't know and learn how to spell you fucking retard

  • learn to fuckin read dumb shit

  • Why don't you learn how to punctuate dip-shit.

  • better dont , later they destroy the park ecosystem

  • Must be an alligator thing I found a baby common and it doesn't bite at anything.

  • actually common snappers are more aggressive.

  • yeah it will i onw one a litle baby he didnt and just started to today i could get him out he would get under teh blanket and stay warm and sleep till his tank was clean now i take him out he tryes to bite

  • ok i could BARELY read you comment but it looks like you said you had a turtle that would go under a blanket to stay warm.

well, that is incorrect because reptiles are ectothermal, or 'cold-blooded' this means they get their body heat from their surroundings, they do not make their own. a blanket works by keeping in body heat from warm blooded animals that would normally be lost. this would not work for an animal that does not generate its own body heat.

  • .... wait when i get my snapping turtle can i get a lil piece of fabric so he/she can be cozy?

  • hahah no

  • just thougt i should explain that to you so you don't kill a reptile in the future by thinking it's warm when it's not.

get a heat lamp or under-tank heater. im not even going to go into why, but stay away from heat rocks. they'll burn your animal.

  • i know all that your talkin to a guy who owned a 7ft black king snake for 5 years and now owns a 7inch common snapper and fixin to own a florda lizard or a iguana

  • that means nothing to me. you obviously didn't know any of that if you were to make a statement like the one i referred to.

  • wow your wanna figth with me over a common i posted FOUR months ago thats so sad do you have nothing els to do with your life or somthing

  • i've got plenty to do. these comments take me seconds to type. i stumbled upon this video very recently. i couldn't give a flying fuck when you posted your comments.

  • theyre cute

  • They remind you of the new design for Gammera in the new series of movies. Too bad thy can't fly or breathe fire though ;)

  • I found one in my driveway one day. The funny thing is, we were several miles from any really signifigant body of water.

We lived in the middle of a suburb for the love of heaven!

  • were do u get a baby alligator snapping turtle???

  • reptile expos and they are like $200-$3,000

  • if your smart dont go to reptile expos. look for a breeder. the moar they have the cheeper they are!
