I love how the Spartans' favorite moment from their six-year losing streak is the worst non-call in the history of this series. The most impressive part is Mike Hart chasing him down and fighting through two linemen to get there.

I have been to a lot of games at Spartan Stadium but I don't think I have ever heard the crowd as loud as it was when this play happened...it was unbelievable. I was literally jumping up and down screaming at the top of my lungs. I still get goosebumps when I see the video but there was nothing like actually being there....GO STATE!
I think MSU has been bad because of John L. For every game, he stops coaching after 1st of half a ball game...That game against Michigan back in 04 and against Notre Dame this past season, are the clear examples of John L's 2nd half playbook-"let's play like the game's over if we're leading after the 1st half".

Hahaha, I have to laugh at MSU fans being "loyal to football". 2 years ago when MSU was in the middle of one of their signature mid season collapses, and played Ohio State at home, the stadium was 60% full and most in attendance were OSU fans.
However when Michigan struggles (and by struggling I mean starting a season 2-2, a record that State would accept as a good start) they still pack the house with 105,000+ and have every game since the 70's.
MSU are fair weather fans!

No actually I was refering to Fall 2005, but this past year when we did start 0-2 we still beat your shitty football team. And don't forget that the MSU basketball team lost to GVSU at the begining of the season, and barely beat Michigan Tech!

michigan's had a solid year in basketball. dropped a toughie to that quality northwestern team at crisler. that was a heartbreaker.
last time i checked exhibition games lost to d2 schools don't count.
but the first game of the regular season does. oh wait that was 1-AA well actually bowl sub-division. quality loss though. played their "hart's" out.

Yeah i heard michigan had a good 10 WIN SEASON! They lost to Eastern Wahington for gosh sake. They also didnt beat anyone that went to the NCAA tournament whereas MSU is in the Sweet 16 and still going.

Wow. As a Mich. fan who didn't have the chance to watch this game (we were gone that weekend) that was a loud moment for the crowd. It's too bad MSU fans have nothing to cheer about except the new coach. Good luck in every game but one next year, Spartans.

I have been to a lot of games at Spartan Stadium but I don't think I have ever heard the crowd as loud as it was when this play happened...it was unbelievable. I was literally jumping up and down screaming at the top of my lungs. I still get goosebumps when I see the video but there was nothing like actually being there....GO STATE!

I think MSU has been bad because of John L. For every game, he stops coaching after 1st of half a ball game...That game against Michigan back in 04 and against Notre Dame this past season, are the clear examples of John L's 2nd half playbook-"let's play like the game's over if we're leading after the 1st half".
