it' s closed on the columbia in Canada . I don't understand why they allow you to fish sturgeon in the states there numbers are low and they don't seem to be reproducing.

Sea lions are now targeting sturgeon....won't be too long until we have sturgeon fishing shut down....bummer

I had one a couple of years ago that was somewhere between 9 - 11ft. May have been larger. But was so big I just could not get the upper hand on it. Didnt help that I was by myself on a shitty little boat.

After about 2hrs I cut the line intentionally cause my arm could take no more. By far the most fun catch of my life.

I plan to hunt this fish again, I no longer go without a second person. Got to have a buddy to trade off with. This is not a 1 person fish.

me and my brother fish a mile and a half below the dalles dam and we use shad and squid, last year we hooked into one atleast ten foot and that was a battle but the fish one he snaped 100lbs test mono

Just went sturgeon fishing for the first time last weekend. Caught one under and two oversize The big ones were seven and eight foot. Hella fun. And that's pretty much how we fished for them.

when i went to oregan to meet my uncle.

my grandma took us on a tour on the lake.

i got like 15 stergeun just for meh.

out of all the people we got like 50 fish.

but ughh.

the last fish we caught took us about, a hour and, 15 minutess.
