  • Well done Johnny! I really appreciate the time and effort you took to cover these features. There is always something to learn with Reaper.

    Cheers from Canada!

  • Thanks a lot!

    ???

  • @TutorialsForReaper that's what the acoustic guitar chords reminded me of..

  • how did you get it to look like that?? like the theme?

  • @kpgpwi64

The theme is called "Apollo" i have i tutorial on the site on how to change it.

  • I like the music, keeps the video from feeling stale :] Super helpfull info thanks man

  • @JoshSetterfield

heh heh.. I think you are the only one that likes the music in the BG.

I've decided to keep it out for all future videos.

  • @warpman666

No sir. I think enough people don't like the bg music so i'll leave it out ... :-) if anything I may add a bg music option.

  • Should I use normalization on all tracks? (After I have recorded them I mean)...Wouldn't it give me a better and easier mix?

  • @TonyJackMusic

You don't NEED to normalize but if you start making your own presets it would be a good idea to set them up when they are at the same volume(the waveform).

I usually normalize and then in REAPER manually level them with the item trim tool, shown in this video, which then makes each track easier to control when going into a compressor or any other sound processing plugin.

of course this is my opinion. :-)

  • Great vid!

  • thanks were to me very useful
