@prabjot8 Dude, people played this game before "GPU" existed. Pentium III processors, and 8MB Voodoo 3dfx video cards. That's what my dad had in the living room back in 1998 or 1999 when I started playing ID games in general. I'm not a old guy either, I'm 19 at the moment. :)

This would be awesome... but seriously, where are these drivers??? It has been about 5 1/2 months since these were announced, yet we do not have them.... was it cancelled? Is it still being worked on? With xorg 1.7 around the corner, the current drivers are useless, and therefore new releases like Ubuntu 10.04 will not be able to run out of the box.... they need to tell us what is happening...

hey guys thats great, i have always been dissapointed in the somewhat regressive drivers that are currently being used in linux(fglrx for one)
