Eh, the Witch Doctor has so much of the same "flavour" as the Druid, so I for one doubt they'll have something similar (meaning a caster/summoner/fighter hybrid). They did say though that they are using placeholder NPC art for the fourth class, but that they can't use placeholder art for the fifth; I figure that may be because the fifth class is a shapeshifter. It would be very cool if they had something like a Diabolist kinda dude who can morph into demon forms.

Why the fuck do you think the inventory is single-slotted, the characters are cartoonish, the lighting is cheerful, the environments are beautiful (in a world corrupted by evil?), and the armor is disproportioned (check out the shoulder pads...as big as their body), and the game is simply dumbed down? They admitted they were influenced by WoW, and it makes sense from a business standpoint to make a game all of the WoW losers and casual gamers will buy. OMG IT LOOKS SO PRETTYYY :D!

I realize that there might be minor differences between this one and previous versions. However, my complaint is that the story doesn't seem better than before and the hack n' slash gameplay doesn't seem to have done anything different or better. They have had quite a few years to think of upgrades to the franchise, and all they did was make the graphics a little higher resolution. It's disappointing in a way. Makes me wonder why Too Human is getting bad reviews.

D2 Expansion came out June 27th, 2001. Original Diablo released Nov. 30th, 1996. The engine is over 12 years old now and STILL people play it. It used a 256 color palette and only the Original Voodoo Cards allowed a more advanced video display using the Glide GPU code. The new D3 release will include 32 bit color and is using the HAVOC engine. Sooo...it might not revolutionize the genre, but you can bet it will break sales records and SLAM bnet with thousands of players. D3 will b great IMO
