I saw this on the news and they were trying to find where the meteor hit.

This was last year. There are hundreds that hit the atmosphere every day. Most happen in the day time. Ones like this hit once or twice a month.

I didn't see the big chunk of rock, but I did see a flash behind a row of houses. I live on the NW side. I thought that it was lightning cause the sky sort of flickered a white light in the darkness.

meteorite my ass is what I thought at first and I didn't trust these video's showing a comet and besides the blast of light didn't appear to come from the direction of the meteor

Best clip yet!! but;-In the original Andy Bartlett clip of the Meteor on the News "that day" Nov.20th; I/we also saw high speed lumionus object, moving to "intercept" the meteor. All the clips of the final frames on Youtube are "Dimmed, Slowed & Cropped" to make the object look like a star.. an easy coverup.. In late August, I saw a stationary,(sarcophagus shape)UFO;(@4500ft)and an orb;flying @1000ft above it moving in random lines it);over the Fraser River at 210th..(w/2 other witnesses) tj

The other object to the right is a confirmed airplane. In fact, that was what Andy was filming at the time.

Now that's large! Thanks for the video! I'm in Ontario & have seen two nice sized meteorites / bollides / ISS tool bags? in 3 days. Not to mention I don't get out much!? :P

Maybe our new western solar flare eruption & or something causing the CME to erupt is responsible for the earth showers? The Northern & Southern Taurids meteor shower ends today, Nov 25th. (meteor shower associated w/ comet encke.)

Also must wonder if our magnetic sphere is weaker alongside that shrunk heliosphere.

I saw this thing while driving north toward

Edmonton. Breathtaking! Made me wonder what else might be falling! This thing was absolutely HUGE, and lit up almost as bright as the sun for a second. I waited for the "boom" but heard nothing.

Wow, I would have thought the world was going to end.

I observed 5 large meteor's in my life, but none this big. In 2007 I saw one go from Vega west over half of the sky, then over the mountain and disappeared. About a sec later the whole sky lit up where the meteor disappeared. I thought BC was going to be whipped out, then about 2 min later a saw another flash and realized it was just lightning in the next valley over the mountain.

Impossible if a meteor 10 meters wide impacts the ground directly after atomospheric descent the crater would be miles in diameter and the explosion would block sunlight over most of the Northern Hemisphere.
