  • If you think Jay-Z sucks....Kill yourself.

  • If only he didnt sell out. He is definitly one of the greatest rappers of all time. Beyonce fucked him all up... Once he got with her, him and his image changed.

  • "I'm out for presidents to represent Me". Feel me? Word Life.

  • Man i owned this beat check it in the vid description

  • 0:55 <3

  • listened to the entire album yesterday, I had no idea Jay-Z was this good but guess he really felt like dumbing it down for a wider audience

  • Just look at the cover to this album... Jay-Z was doing something different at the time.. He wasn't tupac, or NWA or some kind of west coast gangsta.. He went the sophisticated mobster route.. Shit was nice..

  • jay z needs to bring it back to this watch the throne and the blue print 3 were horrible pieces of shit bring it back!!!

  • Hov is raw no matter what any nigga say

  • Im not gonna lie, Nas is better but Jay killed this song

  • youtube.com/watch?v=fdJhdsDQMGU&feature=channel_video_title My Remix instrumental to this

  • @xXBluePigXx I'm not saying you're wrong, a lot of the new artists are whack, but all those emcees you just named have different flo, you can't compare them. Some of Drake's shit is good. Kendrick Lamar is definitely not the only "new" artist that is any good. Sure it's harder to find now, but good music still exists.

  • Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique ,Kendrick Lamar ,Jay Rock ,Joe Budden Crooked I Joel Ortiz Royce da 5'9 aka Slaughter House , look them up before you say hip hops dead, it ain't dead youre just too lazy to look up new ppl stuck in the past ,sound like old ass geezers complaining about the kids in this generation lmao well peace.

  • @CHAVI494 JMT sucks now. Plus, where the fuck is Reks, Shad K, and Sean Price?

  • @CHAVI494 rofl those guys all suck.

  • No, TheMarkOfJ did not bring me here. I just know good hip hop music. I'm 14 and i want to apologize for my generation of music such as lil wayne, drake, lmfao, tyga, lil b... R.I.P. hip hop... big pun, nas, big l, pac, mobb deep, common, big, gang starr... only good new artist is kendrick lamar...

  • @xXBluePigXx Thank God you apologized for wayne and drake! I mean i didnt know what we were gona do for a little bit there...

  • raw

  • deffinitly a little sentimental on this song i just wish jay didnt go the other way...

  • I don't understand all the hate towards Jay-Z. THIS IS A 5 MIC CLASSIC!!!!!

  • Thinking about classic jay-z brought me here.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMarkOfJ real spit tho!

  • @TheMarkOfJ You still see glimpses of it here and there, but sadly, your right. This album and Ready to Die forever in my top 5 though.

  • @TheMarkOfJ on watch the throne he does

  • @IPyroAngel Bullshit he does lol. Watch the throne was horrible

  • @TheMarkOfJ YOU SERIOUS? check prime time, the last bonus track and niggas in paris.

  • @TheMarkOfJ if he did he wouldnt of made the money he males now...hustler forever moving forward

  • @TheMarkOfJ hes not hungry anymore

  • @TheMarkOfJ He's grown now, and rich. He can't rap about the same things forever. When you stop being real about your current lifestyle, you lose that "it" factor. That's why Jay's always going to be on top, he raps it like he lives.

  • Do you expect hip-hop to just come back to life if we stay in the 90's? Start bumping some new shit. Gangrene just released a banger. Madchild gave us an EP. Homeboy Sandman released a great album. Koncept released a near-classic. This is all in 2012. Goddamn you motherfuckers are sleeping

  • Doesn't mean that hip-hop is dead. There's still real hip-hop but all of you old folks just sit around complaining rather than promoting. How many albums did you buy from 2011? Scratch that, how many albums did you listen to from 2011? And The Beastie Boys and Naughty By NAture doesn't count. Probably not much.

  • I guarantee none of yall have listened to Undun. Oneirology? R.E.K.S.? Introducin? The Greatest Story Never Told? Distant Relatives? In Case I Don't Make It? WAR? Armor Of God? All these albums are almost as good as Reasonable Doubt. Some maybe even better. Reasonable Doubt is a solid album but why do you think hip-hop has slowed down and not progressed from the 90's? Sure, it was the golden age of hip-hop. Jst because the listening age of rap has gone down and therefore lyrics are dumbed down.

  • @GemSh0t Chill. I loved Oneirology, R.E.K.S., Armor of God, Section.80, The Family Sign, For The Record, Elmatic, ect. But, Reasonable Doubt is a fucking classic. Calm down.

  • If you expect hip-hop to stay the same forever than no wonder it's dying. The only way for a genre to stay alive is to push it forward. If Drake came out with a song just like this it would get hate because hip-hop needs to progress, and 30 years later, it's time. So quit saying that hip-hop is dead because it's changing, that's exactly what we need. If it wasn't for Kanye West, 9th Wonder, The Alchemist, Exile, and artists like that than hip-hop would be near-dead. So quit complaining.

  • If you dig this, check out my rendition. MicRNS - "Dead Presidents Cover" Ughn

  • Great great track by Jay, but in my opinion The World Is Yours >>>>>

  • @zatooo88 Nas doesnt even have a version lol.

  • @TheFreeFitted Nas has "The World is Yours" and Jay-Z sampled this in "Dead Presidents", and Jay-Z just sounds better in my opinion.

  • 2:47-3:09

Did this man just change his flow 3 times within the same verse? Good gawd....all while flawlessly spitting multisyllabaic and internal rhymes. Smh, it's almost unfair.

  • /watch?v=tPONKBX2BbI&feature=g-upl

  • I meant jay wouldnt have a hit

  • if it wasnt for nas wit this beat jay wouldnt have this beat

  • @yungmoolah12 yea he took his voice and made a hit

    1, jayz dead presidents.

    2, dmx slippin

    3, 2pac biggie runnin original.

    4, naz one mic

    5, 2pac do for love

    rip hiphop

  • @BMTHdan and ##1 JCOLE took over

  • @BMTHdan

Hip Hop isn't dead! stop saying it!

  • @BMTHdan lol you're stupid as fuck. rip hip hop? hahaha there were at least 5 songs released in 2010-2011 that were better than most the songs on your list. dmx is cool but there are better rappers coming up doing it now. kendrick lamar? action bronson? elzhi? all are better than dmx. you want a resurrection but one isn't needed, there's still dope hip-hop. it's people like you who refuse to buy new shit and thats why hip-hop aint getting far. stupid.

  • @GemSh0t Yes my man! Well said. I agree with you 100 percent.

  • @GemSh0t Aight bro chill, i'm kinda findin that you never hear any of these artists you listed on the radio...the most used iten to listen to music with. So honestly, i think hip hop didn't die, but its definitely losing blood quick. Back in the early nineties, people would bump great tracks like this one by HOV all day in their cars, but shit i can't do nothin bout it. Just sayin, lets chill and listen to Jay-z cultivating his real hip hop flow in this song.

  • @TejMusicProductions Hip-hop on the radio was mostly due to Biggie and 2pac.

  • @GemSh0t aight, but Jay-Z to the radio back then is like J cole to the radio today, you know, just heatin up on the stations.

  • @GemSh0t do not listen this person. they probably think lil wayne is better than tupac and gucci has a more dope flow than jeru tha damaja.

  • @BMTHdan They're your top 5 songs of ALL TIME? lmao, gtfo man.

Hip hop isn't dead, its just changed. Rappers can't be talking about the ghetto forever can they? Or would you prefer it if all of today's rappers were just imitations of Biggie, Pac, Jay, Nas etc... Idiot

  • not bad choices

  • Dope ass song

  • the song was released in 20.2.1996 and now today is 9.12.2011 we still listen this song i cain't compare this song to alooot of another rap songs everybody know that who listened to rap music it is a milestone for rap-history

THUMB UP WHO LISTENS IT TILL HE DIES , I WANNA DO IT.

  • I had near brushes, not to mention 3 shots close range, never touched me, divine intervention... This literally happened to ne the other night.

  • Difference between Nas and Jay Z

    Jay Z - ILLuminati

    Nas - ILLmatic

  • @pavsingh true, but i don't think we gotta worry bout illuminati. You a sikh?

  • @clubnarutoreaper only time will tell. he might fall off after making a few millions and go commercial i like j.cole cause some of the shit he spit is real.

  • Hardddd tunee reminds man of the streets dun'kno T2P North all day <<<<SN.

  • This is really getting annoying about nas vs. jay z time to move the fuck on

  • @mikeleas1995 i agree yo that rivalry was over 10 years ago

  • fuck all that shit about jay z changing and how isnt the old him. thats the truth that he isnt the old him. he made reasonable doubt in the mid 90s. come on that was almost 20 years ago. the music hes makin noww is reflecting his personality for what it is nowww

  • rjdrays28 mos deff. i dnt listen to him i need to tho

  • Back when Jay z was good! know he sucks

  • Comment removed

  • 1. jay-z

    Best Rappers of all time

  • @360itube You had me until you put J. Cole in there..

  • @Eziokilla9595 You kidding me? J. Cole is golllddd, genius, so real, so clever, so goooodd. His more well-known songs (Work Out, Can't Get Enough) are awful, but if you listen to his mixtapes he's actually really amazing!

  • @Elisa4Realz I love The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights, but Jay-Z is a rap legend.

  • @Eziokilla9595 Oh yeah I get you! I'm not saying J. Cole is better...but I mean in MY opinion he IS up there :$

  • @Elisa4Realz Not yet...He needs more time to grow, but he's on his way. But, no matter whatever anybody says, Jay-Z is Top 10, Period.

  • @Eziokilla9595 I agree with your statement on Jay-Z, & yeah I guess you're right about Cole...I just love him. I just think he's someone that will be remembered.

  • @360itube what about mos?

  • @360itube dude, J. Cole's good but he'll be a part of that list later...MUCH later

  • this is incredible, like if you can feel this song <3

  • Reasonable Doubt is Jay best album, I wish in thier primes that Jay and Nas would do a song together before Jay dumb down his lyrics. Still top 5 best rapper ever HOVA

  • jay in his prime

  • this is defintly better than nas version .. but nas ny state of mind is better than empire state of mind

  • @sadcommunity Nas never did an official version of this

  • @sadcommunity what are you talking about? nas didn't have a version of this song. the song "the world is yours" by nas is nothing even remotely like this song and Nas only uses the dead presidents line once. im not saying this song wasnt good and nas' version would be better because this is one of the best songs ever but i just dont think you can say that nas had a version

  • @sadcommunity The world is yours remix(from illmatic anniversary disc) is better than this

    "My insight enlights vision

    Words of wisdom

Niggas pay me intuition to listen

To the murder pargraphs of mysticism" - shits sick

  • @ThumbsUpMike nas raps a lot about religion which i dont care much for but i like him more then jay-z

  • @Bongwater123 nas doesnt rap about religion that much

only time he really did was on God's Son
