@thecoralsea : Good ear for noticing this...the piano is over 150 years old and cannot be tuned any higher (so I have been told by experts). It has been in my family all that time though so I don't have the heart to get rid of it...thanks for listening :)
I use to listen to this piano version almost everyday, thank you for this. This song reminds me of some important things and a specific moment, and I'm so thankfull with you for making this.
@cwizzzy Thanks, I am a big fan of The Knife and just figured it out by ear one day, I hope to do more covers of their songs in the future. Thanks for listening and for your kind words :)
this is awesome!!! i love this song and have always thought it would make a beautiful acoustic version (and you've proven me right), but it doesn't seem to be very well known, and i'd given up hope until i found this! great job. have you written any sheet music for this? i'm a relative noob with piano but i'd love to give it a try!
@schefjackson117 Thanks for your lovely comment, I hope to do an acoustic version of The Knife's song "Reindeer" and have it up on You Tube in time for Christmas. The Knife are an excellent band and yes it's a pity they are not known by everyone!! I don't have sheet music I'm afraid, sorry. The left hand chords are written above in an earlier comment and the starting notes on the right hand are G, E, G (but I do a run up to G in my version) Give it a try anyway (",)
@Metalgazer : Thanks for the super compliment, I am a HUGE Twin Peaks and The Knife fan and love the soundtrack of the tv series, might do a cover of Julie Cruise's "Falling" sometime. Cheers for listening and for taking the time to comment.
this beautiful, dude. good job on this. just wondering; did you do that by ear or did you find chords somewhere? because i'd really like to learn this, you know, to play.
@Donovean Thanks very much, I worked it out by ear. I do read music but haven't come across any Knife stuff yet. The left hand chords are just C, Am, C, Am, F, G, F, Dm, Am and back to C. Give it a go! Nice to get some feedback though so thank you for taking the time to view and to comment. Good luck with working it out yourself, hope to goes well :)
Something about the knifes music makes for amazing sounding covers, this is so nice!

your piano is tuned down a whole step, so C to A minor is actually Bb to Gminor in standard tuning...
