This song is one of the many reasons why I love Chopin and classical music in general. It's so beautiful, literally the most beautiful thing I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. It makes me so happy, and sad. The song itself is so sad, and knowing that I didn't force myself to learn the piano (in order to play music like this) drives me insane. Gotta love some Chopin.

This is definitely my all time favorite classical song. I don't understand why everyone's so opposed to classical music in my generation (I'm 19) just because it's old, I listen to a huge variety of music, some of my favorite genres being stoner or doom metal, classical, old 50s swing jazz. Music is music in all it's forms. Don't judge it based on some preconceived notion of a genre. If more people gave this music a fair shot, I'm willing to be they'd like it.
