This looked well known! If it's not a problem with the sight, the plow makes a problem. Been crossing this mountain road for many years, and sometimes it was needed to "use" the plow in front of the colonne, but mostely the plow was the one who made the sight bad!
I hope you are still alive. If so, I salute you! Seriously, what a drive! I would have been arthritic for weeks after being sooo tense on the drive. Good job, courageous.
It's a driving colonne just 'one way' because of bad sight. The click is hazzard blinkers because we have to use it in the colonne.Better to stay home, drink some beer:-))
There is a plowtruck in front, and one behind a convoy of about 20 trucks and small cars. This is the mainroad (E6) from south to north. Many mountain crossings are like this, when the weather is bad at winter time, ore they are closed..
In order to deal with "danger", you gotta understand the two factors of "risk" and "safety measures". You balance risk with SM - or, if you like, D=R/S. Thing is: You have to understand the nature of these two factors and deal with them. This is what Norwegian truckers have to learn. Do that, you're safe. Not fully as safe as being alone on the road a nice summer day, but acceptable. You'd be amazed as to how much one can achieve in slippery conditions.

Is it not dangerous driving in a such weather?
Hardly one sees the road!

where your 4 ways running? ( 4ways = hazard flashers)

I use hazard lights to prevent others from crashing into my rear. The rear lights are covered with snow within minutes, and the sight is not good.
