French takes his words just in latin but the grammar is very hard. The number of words is not significant, it's easier to learn English than French.

It's difficult to understand what you wrote because neither grammary nor the verbs are correct. Do you still think french is easier than english ? But it's not a blame, french is the roman language the more difficult...

In addition, english is more basic than french, it's why the diplomatic language is french, more subtle and sophisticaded. Yet it's just my opinion ;)

@Elfian66 My French is definitely rusty since I left school two years ago, but I like to think I can get an average French speaker to understand what I am saying. I enjoy speaking French though, it certainly sounds much more eloquent compared to English. But alas, it is not my first language and I probably sound pathetic when speaking it. If i lived in France for a month or so i'm sure it would improve.

I've the feeling that english is easily satisfied by the simplicity (mediocrity sometimes) than french. In France, if whe listen to a song in which the lyrics are "I love you, I need you, I want to stay with you" or something like this, nobody wants listen to it, it's too superficial and not poetic.
