GIMP Speech Bubble Tutorial

Good tutorial, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa­aaaaaaaaaaaaay too complicated as far as program design. There were like 200 separate processes there.

It should be insert > widgets > speech bubble (drag to size)

This is just fucking insane.

Not your fault, good tutorial, but christ I hate Gimp.

Don't save your images as .jpg or .jpeg. Use .png.

A lot of people do it by sketching the page out on paper and scanning it into the computer, and using an image application like GIMP to add inking (black lines), colour, layout, speech bubbles etc. Others do it by using a computer tablet (drawing peripheral) and do the whole thing in an image application.

Making a comic page requires several different skills. There's no single tutorial or guide you can read that will let you to suddenly make manga. A lot of it is down to you. Try experimenting, drawing more, doing your own stuff, making your own comic series. Just enjoy yourself. Also be specific with questions. Learning to draw? Looking for more GIMP tutorials? Want to know where to start? Better spelling is also important, as it will make people take you more seriously and help you more.

well i can draw, it s just the whole 'cleaning up-in-gimp' method that i lack. And I m a linguistics student so no problem with spelling and grammar either. but it s ok, i think i might ask someone to do it for me ^^ i just thought i should know it myself if i wanted to start anything like that

im having troubles whit gimp! i have installed downloaded gimp and then GTK + , i installed both and then wen i click in gimp to start it, it says, the message:

it wasnt possible to locate the point of entrance of prossijure( im traduzing it myself from the real mesage that is in portuguese) in the mesage also appers lots of strange numbers : Xset_Doctype.......
