industrial? they used that because they had one, you could easily use a dolly, or get a friend to help you lift it, seeing as it probably weighs less than my bed frame. and even if it doesnt, they could just put wheels on the bottom, instead of the legs that are there.

and i guarantee it can hold more than a 150 pound person. its not made of cardboard you know, my guess is metal for the table, stool and bed, and then hard plastic for the rest.

The desk and bookshelf are too big and the mattress seems uncomfortably thin. Make a thicker one with the space saved from making the other two things smaller. Other than that it seems a great gift for every student.
