i think BMW's inline 6's sound rather dull and chattery. The M3 motors are even more raspy, especially with exhaust. They never sound smooth, or deep. I have a 3.0CI 255hp Z4. I wish it sounded more like a 350Z, even though I would never buy one or give it a tuned exhaust like the R32.

it has the standard M3 engine 343hp ,you americans get a "cleaner" version with 333hp or something. So this Z4 doesn't have the CSL-engine(witch has different cams,intake and engine-management,etc.) But it does have the CSL-brakes, and it's lighter than a normal M3,so it's a bit faster 2 ;-)
