@OfficialChrisBurke Public swimming pool? I understand the quarry is over 400 feet deep. Would be a good diver training facility or even a proving ground for underwater robotic vehicles. Aberdeen as an oil rig base is well placed here. I never went back to Rubislaw since then and was surprised to learn of the quarry's "fate". Thanks for the comments though.
