Don't buy these puppies. They'll cost you thousands of dollars because they have problems due to their small size(meaning the vet). It's very, very sad. :( It makes me hope they're reborn into a healthy body.

It's so CUTE. Then my heart broke when I heard the truth on how they got so tiny...

Long story short, the breeders go to extremes to make them tiny (make sure they're born too early) and then as they try to grow they suffer even more because their body is too unnaturally small. It was the saddest thing I heard all day... :'(

I've always heard the way they made them were to take the smallest of each litter and breed them together, and do the same again and again until they're tiny. I've also heard they have health problems, though...

@Slytherinforlife101 it's all about the care you give them. make sure your pet see's the vet on a regular.!! diet very very important with small dogs! i own 2 pomeranians 4 pounds. i cook boiled (boneless) chicken /carrots/w/rice.......mix together. fresh water all the time. smaller the dog the more care! simple!

I understand the frustration of the teacup dogs, but it's smarter to post things in less violently angry ways. Also, Maltese dogs grow between 4-6 pounds. Just be sure to research your breeder. Though, I'm not willing to pay $4000 for this dog, that's like a grand a pound.
