@mafiaman1986 it doesn't add anything, iam not sure about the Gt500s but normally if you are lucky, you might get 4HP to the engine on a GT which you will never ever notice. headers on the other hand do add some specially with CIA and a tune

Excellent sound. The stripe delete is a very nice touch as well. I'd order me a CAI, American Racing LT's and a American Racing catted X and you'd have the best sounding GT500 in New Jersey.

There is no popping, and the drone is about a 3. I kinda like the drone.

it was part number BPI 140135 and it was a cat back system.

the 2010 GT500 is sooo good, it has the 2008 Shelby GT500KR engine thats around 540 HP. well i am from Saudi Araibia

LS1's ARE quite a bit louder than Ford V8's, but Ford's do sound a lot better.

Get some longtube headers and an O/R H mid-pipe and you'll be set. :)

The GT500 comes stock with an X-pipe..so why would you down grade to an h? X-pipes have a better flow than h-pipes thats why high performance cars have them! They sound cooler than the old school h-pipe

Take a listen to the stock exhaust and you'll see why. Shelby in Vegas was my guide as they said this was also the way to go.

I have been buying my favorite Mustang Convertibles since 1988. They have always been my second car and have always had silly low miles. My last one was an '04 cobra convert that I sold to move up to this one. Buy them right and take your time and you'll eventually get what you want. Good luck.

I was just at the Shelby show in Millville and I was amazed how many new 500's showed up. a couple had the stripe kits put on their convertibles..just didn't look right to me.
