  • never seen Paul´s early make up style, which was supposed to be what...blades ? batwings ? googles ??

  • never seen Paul´s very early make up which was what... ? Blades ? Twin Stars ??

  • saw KISS around '74 or so open for Black Sabbath (Vol.4 tour)

KISS absolutely rocked the place putting on one of the best live shows i've ever seen and Sabbath....well....they were pretty high and it showed.

soon after that i think KISS was booted off the bill and started headlining their own tour.

  • Kiss was the very best from 1974 to 1978!

  • @delomehunter Gene didn't think it was gay because he was receiving rather than giving.

  • I Luv to see how much their makeup changed over the years. Like Paul Stanley used to be "The Bandit"

  • @juicysuit So it is true! Now they both married to women. That's mixed up.

  • It it true Paul used to give Gene a BJ before the show to get their energy up? That's why the other guys quit the band.

  • @yojimboe Nothing gets past you, boe.

  • @yojimboe What a life you must have to post such bullshit.

  • @yojimboe Why because they were jealous? Pffft Please.

  • Vocalist Live

  • I grew up with Kiss, if you don't like what Kiss is all about then go listen to Abba for Christ sake, but please.... Stop whining like a load of school girls!

  • Visually they were such a shot in the arm back in '74. However, musically I've always found them to be incredibly thin and lacking. I'd have to agree with an old Melody Maker review that Pretenders' front woman Chrissie Hynde wrote back then where she said, "I guess every fart has it's own little pleasure." A TRULY FRIGHTENING BAND could have taken the visuals of KISS and combined them with the incredible lyrics and musicanship of Blue Oyster Cult. That would have been insane!

  • paul looks better in the bandit make up

  • what is the song in the background?

  • 4 guys had nightmares about Gene when they were young

  • I wasn't ten years old yet in the 70s and I thought they were the greatest and coolest looking band ever. My imagination went fucking crazy just staring at their album covers, and I would just go nuts listening to their music. I owe my life in rock n roll because of this band! KISS FOREVER!!!

  • WE ALL WANT PETER CRISS AND ACE FREHLEY BACK!!!!!!!!! (copy this and then leave a comment if u want U.U) YEAH ! my favorites kiss RULES!

  • @TrigerOriginal I just genuinely don't think either of them wanted it bad enough. For whatever reason they didn't have the endurance to keep up.

  • Was i the only one who thought most of their critics were deaf?

  • They have it all. They gate the beauty and the fame. They win. They wanted it, they have it now.

  • Just take a look at Secos & Molhados and you'll find the origin of this make up..

  • wicked lester

  • why did Paul originally have his make up like a burgler? lol

  • @footballplayer25RC bcuz thts what he looked like wen thy first came out

  • I saw KISS live 1 week ago in Holland (Sonic Boom over europe tour)

And sorry for all the guys who adores the old KISS (with ace and peter)

But this was the BEST concert from KISS I ever saw....and I saw them pretty often

I love Ace but....KISS didnt loose quality after him leaving the band.

  • real music was only during 80s-90s...fuck music today...it should be called "noise" <_<

  • @clydecazenas and 70s

  • ACE !!!!!!

  • @kanwulfNL Im so crazy for him.

  • i saw these guys back in sep.......they rocked but not as much if they wood of had ace and criss

  • Thanks for posting! Love the new lineup equally!

  • Young KISS absolutely fucking ruled!!

True,in your face rock and roll.

...gotta love the costumes back then, skull and bones t-shirts,modified S&M leather outfits...just plain fucking cool.

Until the kiddies got into 'em,but wtf,I can't say nothing as I was one of those pre-teens in the '70s that helped 'em rocket to "super hero" status and put the straight ahead "rockin'" aside....Either way, they still rock!!

  • kiss rules but i hate what they become now.

  • The first Kiss album reminds me of early highschool on autumn. Don't know why. Although in 1974 I was still 16 years away lol

  • Congrats Peter Criss!!! You'r 65!!

  • The make up that change the most was the one from paul, the other were just modified

  • Ace's comment reminds me of Dirk Diggler.

  • To me, there was something very cool about KISS in the early days, especially the first two albums. They sort of have this very under ground, heavy sound that seems reflective of the times, culture, etc.

  • I remember when the first album came out.

  • I love all this ULTRA RARE stuff!!!!! kiss will awalys kick ass!!!!!!

  • Look at the foto at 0:16 . I have it signed by Paul :D

  • Sounds great!

  • But it wasn't me who got it signed. It was a friend of my who gave it to me =)

  • dude thats so sick

  • KISS IS A VERY COOL BAND!

  • kiss was a really cool band!!!

  • I LOVE "Love Theme from KISS!!!"

  • Everything in this movie is REAL!

  • kiss o melhor rock roll

  • For those asking "Where is this from?"...

It's from a fan-made video called "KISS: A Visual Evolution" and it chronicles KISS visually, in print and live, from the beginning to Dynasty. The production was narrated by KISS, with sound clips culled from various interviews, some later than Dyasty, but fitting the content. It was billed as a "KISSVision Exclusive" though I don't know who produced it orifginally. It was later used as part of "20 Years Of KISStory" on Manchester Public Access TV.

  • and on that note the very 1st Kiss concert in Canada was in my homecity of Edmonton, AB.

  • KISS's very first concert took place before an audience of seven people at the now-defunct Coventry Club on January 30th, 1973. The last time I checked, a Chase Manhattan Bank now occupies that address, which is 47-03 Queens Boulevard in New York City.

  • another life form from jendel XD

  • KISS RULES!!!!!!

  • love it

  • COyote spirit, couldnt have said it better myself :)

  • people lets hear it!!!...for paul "powderpuff" stanley

  • where did this video come from???

  • all i want not is that peter and ace returns to kiss, one of my worlds biggest desire.. Rock on kiss! r.i.p Eric!

  • i know! the one time i got to see Kiss was in 2004 for my 10th birthday (2nd row) and Ace and Peter weren't there

  • You are the greatest for posting this vid of the worlds hottest band because YOU WANTED THE BEST!YOU GOT THE BEST!! KISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You Are right man they are the best in the world

  • great vid

  • can u tell me wat the song in thhe beggining of the vid is

  • Sure, it is 'Love theme from kiss' from the very first album. an instrumental one!

  • @Gytis69 u no i hav tht album, the very best of kiss, kiss gold with 2 discs, sonic boom, and also 5 concerts on dvd

  • its "Love theme from KISS"

  • @Dabuss98 It was originally a song called "Acrobat" that they changed to Love theme for the first album to fill space. It is a pretty cool song.

  • @Dabuss98 in the box album its called acrobat

  • They were my heroes as a teenager and the very first band I ever heard termed as "Heavy Metal" back in 1978.

You either love 'em or hate 'em but you NEVER forget those faces!

  • Well, it wasn't in very good condition. It was (originally) folded in half 2 times and had been open and refolded so many times as well as hung and then rehung so many times that it was probably considered a 5/10 condition wise so... Anyways, the guy who bought it put it on his Kiss website store for sale and was asking $500 for it but after a year, it was STILL for sale! I may see if he still has it and if so, buy it back from him. My brothers friends name is on the back of it. Great memories!

  • He gave it to me because he knew just how HUGE a Kiss fan I was. I remember that day very well. I was so happy to have this awesome poster to add to my GIGANTIC Kiss poster collection. Well, about a year and a half ago I decided to put it up for auction on ebay to see how much I could get for it and this is when I learned that it was considered to be the FIRST OFFICIAL Kiss poster! I had found it at my moms house in a box and had forgotten all about it. (con'td)

  • The pic at :56 was their first "official" poster that was released back in '74 and I HAD IT! I'll be brief as I can: My brothers friend walked into a record store when Kiss' first album was released and this store had that poster hanging on the wall right by the front door. Well, he asked the owner if he could buy it from him and he said "No" so a few days later, my brothers friend went in the store and just took it off the wall and RAN! LOL! Well, about 2 years later he GAVE it to me! (cont'd)

  • Funny thing is I was probably at most of these concerts at the old Michigan Palace where they played ALL the time with aerosmith

  • Matt123ttam says: "they werent that great"

eh? Idid i not tell you to remember to take your medication!?

  • that band had a lot of potential. they werent that great. but they sure did kill and put on a real good show

  • what is this from? its really cool

  • KISSVISION

  • interesting. what is this from?
