Perhaps this is a stupid question, but shouldn't you run the engine a few times during the winter, even if you don't drive it?

Are those flow masters under there? Sounds just a touch hollow. If those are Flowmasters... What Gen? 40's ?

yes 40 series flowmasters. I don't have this car anymore though sadly.

Hey this is a cool car. Love that sound. But disconnet the battery next time and charge it befor the spring-startup. Do you drive it only in the summer-months?

I drove the car sometimes late fall and rarely in winter when the weather is very nice. The battery was in the car for very many years which is why it was weak. I no longer have this car.

did you have to pump the gas pedal to start the car??

Yes I did. It was sitting all winter so it took a little extra time til it started. Usually it is much quicker. Also, the battery was almost dead. The next day I tried to start it and it was completely dead.

hey i was wondering can you record under the hood when trying to start it i wanted to see what the engin is doing can see what the carburator is doing i never seen .... if you dont mind i hope its been sitting a hile since you haven,t started it...

Thank you very much. The car has a 327ci motor out of a 1967 Corvette. The previous owner got into an accident which apparently killed the original 350ci engine.
