to make sure the rail doesn't turn to the side when installing you could mount a carry handle on top and front of the originating body-rail so that it holds the RIS in place while you screw in the grub screws and retainer screws... this way it can not move and the 2 top rails should line up perfectly.

Another thing. These are designed to be mounted on FIREARMS with properly-indexed gas tubes. ALL STANDARD BARREL NUTS are the same, and align the same when installed correctly, and there should not be ANY play in the DD Omega rail's mounting.

You guys should really make a How To on wiring the gun to the back so you can put it in a crane stock because not all guns come with a crane stock and people want to upgrade it to have one. And a lot of people DON'T want a peq box. Yeah its good to know how to install the Omega Rail but that's useless until i know how to rewire my gun properly and there are like NO videos on how to do that. I think you guys would do an excellent job showing that.
editing tip: when you apply a background image to replace your green screen, feather the edges of the objects. it will make it look less choppy and overly contrasting.

@LikelyJames it requires a hole punch and lock wrench. pound the pin half way out then clasp it with the wrench, pull while twisting. it took me 2 hours non stop, its because kwa decided to go anal on us and install hollow pins instead of the traditional, pin. when theyre both off, its looses but might be stiff due to the paint on the outer barrel. put a decent amount of penetrating oil around the outer barrel next to the front sight. shimmy and pull now. its off

WHO THE F CARES if you have top brand guns?? i have never heard of the relation between top brand turning into fps which turned into more joules.... if you do your own research then post the joules listing of BB and then Paintball. that would only give you the "power" of the gun even still. If you have ever been shot anywhere with a sniper hot gun 650-700+ fps THAT hurts more than paintball.

@RantingTalk I know that most airsoft guns shoot faster than a paintball gun. But a paintball is 16 times heavier than your average .2 bb so that means it has way more kinetic energy and it has more pushing power than a bb.
AND YES. I DID MY RESEARCH. Yes a 700 fps sniper rifle would hurt more than paintball. that is almost traveling as fast as your average revolver. but I am talking about an average high end airsoft gun.

@bigbadairsoft yea....its more of the opposite. The majority of airsoft players are pussies compared to paintball players. Seriously, if a gun shoots more than 400fps a lot of people bitch and complain because "It hurts too much" or "it is too dangerous" and all that other shit.
Now, if you play 'hardcore' airsoft it is a bit evened out between the two sports.

400+fps using Paintballs= bruises since the paintball explodes and kinetic energy is dispersed..
I'd like for you to play "hardcore" airsoft and take a 400+fps to the face and see if you like that >_>
You don't need 'hardcore' to play, it's all about sportsmanship. Why do you think we don't use paint? we can and there are high quality paintballs in 6mm form, we just don't need to :]

@Slash28ACR actually, you wear a full face mask in paintball sooo...yeah it doesn't hurt. Unless your not wearing a full face mask. that sucks. Also you know paintball hurts more because you HAVE to wear a full face mask. It's in the rules. Airsoft on the other hand you don't so what does that tell you.

Paintballs travel SLOWER than BB's, but they are capable of more damage to the face because of their size. International limit for paintball - 300FPS, uk limit for airsoft is 328FPS and the US has a higher limit.

@Slash28ACR I know paintballs travel slower you dummy. I own a paintball gun and each time I play i have to set the fps to 300. They hurt more because they are heavier and carry more kinetic energy

@kanmashma Just another point. A paintball is like what .5? and a bb is like what .2? BUT.... idk if you have heard they JUST made bb's that are .43. Because i went to K4 i realize that .43 and .5 are pretty close?? Just thought i would add to your research. and i know .43 bb's are pretty new to the world so its ok that you didnt know LOL .43 going 500-600fps will about equal if not pass a .5 going 300....

@hugetird 400fps across 150ft would definitely be less than 1 joule of energy hitting you. Using .25s it should be 1 joule.
If you think you've been hit even if you're not sure, call yourself out. airsoft vs paintball. it's called sportsmanship while in paintball you NEED to get marked to be out.

@SjKimber Wow, classic example of a shitty argument. This sport is as safe or as unsafe as you make it and with all the safety gear that is at our disposal there should be NO reason as to why ANY playing style is unsafe.
A BB will damage/puncture an eye at 300fps.
And fyi, the max for most paintball places for FPS is 300fps.
I do play 'hardcore' combatsim and I have gotten hit in the face, multiple times. I shake it off and play the next round.
The honor system is a hit or miss.

Yes , degrade the sportsmanship of airsoft even more. Best place for airsoft sportsmanship can be found in South Korea where 1 joule is the limit and it's more 'hardcore' than you can make it. whatever kid? don't be arrogant in that you're 18, Your age and my age mean nothing in the online world, though the maturity difference is quite evident.
High FPS lovers ruin the sport. 400 is plenty.

@bigbadairsoft That comment is very untrue, I'll have you know I play both, airsoft is my favorite, but paintball takes a lot more balls to play then airsoft. Even a weeker paintball gun can hurt more than airsoft sniper rifles. Paintball is a sport and airsoft is a milsim, therefore they are two way different categories. So leave them alone.

@bigbadairsoft I play both. I can say for a fact that one isnt better than the other. Airsoft is slow paced and realistic, so milsim people tend to like airsoft. Where as paintball is fast, and can be played by anyone of any age, which is why more sporty people want to play it. Airsoft it meant to be realistic, paintball is meant to be a sport. So grow a pair and play paintball before you accuse paintballers. And paintballers quit ranting airsoft, your making us look bad. I play to have fun.
